    LG 65EG9600 OLED Flashing LG White LED

    Hello, ive got this LG OLED 65EG9600 model that wasn't powering on, only the LG logo led was flashing constantly. Bought it as is..

    So, took an lg service remote, used power only, and it fired up. Shutted down, and then it worked using the original remote, and if works every time.

    What happened, why does power only with a service remote got that thing back to life ? I just don't get it.

    Anyhow, ive got a nice white/yellow line going down the screen, the guy said that line wasnt there before. Attached the picture of it..

    Is that a sign of a bad panel, or is there any chances a replacement tcon would fix that ? is there any way in the service menu i can confirm that in some way ?

      An internal panel short happened which sent the mainboard into protection mode, then this line is the result, it may have been impact or the TV did this by itself which is common for these first gen OLEDs, lots of panel failures, no repair for vertical lines is known.

          Well from what i know no impact, it did this on it's own.

          There is no ways to even turn a single panel line off, from the service menu or any other method of doing so ? Having it off would have been better.

              A strange fault occured while I was calibrating the battery. This battery had not been used for a while.

              Previously to calibrating the DC/Charge LED operated normally:

              Off when no charger,
              Solid Orange while charging with Charger,
              Solid White when 100% Full with charger.

              I charged to 100% then left it playing a long youtube video,
              as expected the guage was wrong and it just cut off before reaching the low percent where it would sleep.

              It wouldn't power on so I plugged charger expecting to...

              Sony KD-55X8509C white flashing/pulsing LED

              I was asked to look at a Sony KD-55X8509C as it was not powering on, no lights.

              On inspection, there was no physical issues.
              I seated all cables and repowered the TV, then the LED light flashed Green / Amber.
              - this seems to indicate repairing required, done by Firmware update.
              so downloaded the latest Firmware from Sony website and wrote to 4Gb USB drive.
              Inserted the drive and repowered the TV.
              LED changed to white flashing/pulsing ... and it sat there for over an hour.

              i was unsure what was happening so repowered the TV and now it just...

              Hey guys,

              I have a SHARP LC-60LE640X TV that has suddenly developed an intermittent fault of flashing white noise patches (appears like an Analog tuner off signal) and then totally dropping out.
              This model I believe is also known as LC-60LE600U or LC-60LE640U in other regions.

              As the Elitebooks (820, 840 all gens) only show flashing Power LED and flashing CapsLock (continuously) + a very soft "ticking" noise near the DC Jack,
              I wonder if re-flashing the BIOS might be of any use here.

              As far as I understood, steady flashing either means insufficient power or a CPU/GPU/Motherboard issue. I use the original 65watt power supply.

              There are so many threads out there, but most of the solutions involve flashing codes, which I dont have or claim that you MUST use the original power supply, do a hard reset, reseat the RAM, clean the RAM,...
