      Hi

I have the same problem... I change F9222L IC but problem continue...

when I put 230V IN LED start flash and I listen a noise like "iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii", I think witch all capacitor stay ok...

      - on KA431 I have 0V
      - on sink of F9222L I have 150V
      - on sink of primary MOSFET I have 150V

some one can help me find the problem?

      best regards

            Pictures of the board?
            Power supply board number? BNXX-XXXXXX?
            One of these your board?
            http://www.shopjimmy.com/catalogsear...?q=BN96-03775A

Are you getting low 12V, 24V?

If it is, then check the capacitance of CM802.

Thanks very much for your Reply Budm.

Yes, my board is a BN96-03775A.

I already changed the F9222L, and problem continuous.

              I don't know where I test 12V or 24V.

CM802 is an electrolitic capacitor? Or a normal? How can I test? With an ohms tester?

Thanks very much for your help.

              Sorry for my bad English.

              Soon I go to bed

              Best regards

The connectors have pin names next to them.
CM802 is special poly film, you need cap meter to verify the capacitance.

BTW, those yellow glues that turned dark brown MUST be removed, it is corrosive and conductive when they turn brown.

Now I'm at home, and the Tv is in my wife work.

Tomorrow I check and test it.

                    Then I tell you.

                    Thanks again.

                      Re: Powersupply proble, SAMSUNG LA32R71B

Check first if you do have 12V AND 24V on the connectors, black probe on the metal chassis and red probe on the 12V, 24v pins.
If the cap CM802 is bad you will get low Voltages on the 24V and the 12V pins.

                        Hi again budm!

                        Now I´m testing the pins:

                        With tester in DC mode:
1.-Black wire on GND board and red wire on +12V pin = test= -0,17V NEGATIVES
2.-Black wire on GND board and red wire on +5,4V pin = test= -0,14V NEGATIVES
3.-Black wire on GND board and red wire on +24V pin = test= -0,14V NEGATIVES

4.-Black wire on GND board and red wire on one pin of CM802 = test= sometimes 12V or 17V or 4V......etc from 4V to 17V POSTIVES and sometimes only 2V or 4V

5.- Black wire on GND board and red wire on the other pin of CM802 = test= -4V and sometimes -2V and -0.2V.

6.- The same thing about CM 801 sometimes 3V or 4V in one pin and in the other -0,22V

                        I don´t understand nothing

                        I need help

                          Hi Again!

Now I'm looking for any part of the board to see if I find somewhere 12 or 24V DC.

Testing always with black wire of the tester on GND on the board and the red wire on all the pins of the board, and never find more than 3 volts 4 volts or -3volts and -4 volts.

                          Now too this results on CM802 , CM801 , TM801S , LP801 ....

                          guess may be a serious problem in LP801 , OR/AND TM8015.....

but testing in AC from L or N ....always I find at the beginning of the board 220V and after always I find 110V AC in many pins or almost all pins.

I do not know what else to measure or where to go , but I would find the cause of this and then change the faulty component

                          Thanks for all

I wonder what the point where they should stay the 110V AC to continue with 24V or 12 V DC .

Because I can not find it

remove and retest the diode if you already havnt as sometimes they test ok out of circuit.

You are getting 110VAC because you are using the chassis as the GND ref. You need to measure between Line and Neutral. and the circuit after the bridge you will use the negative leg of the main filter cap as the GND ref for the primary side circuit. You use chassis as GND REF when making measurement in the secondary side.
So check the Diode off the board.
the 12V, 24V are tested with TV turned on? How about the capacitance of CM802?

Hi, and thanks budm, and now too vinceroger69.

Now still I'm not working on tv.

Budm, This test I told I measuring with board out the tv. So only with board on the table and with 220V AC.
                                    I mistake abour it? Sorry

About capacitance of CM802 this afternoon I desolder with the diode and test all.

Then I put here the results.

                                    Thanks again budm!

You have to have the power supply board at least connected to the main board otherwise the the power supply board will not be getting the PS-ON signal from the main board to turn on the PFC Voltage booster circuit and the 12V/24V circuits in the power supply board.

Now I tested the diode and it´s OK. So....jojojojojo

And I have the CM802 out desolder.

And my multitester with capacitor tester.....say 0...cero
