Sweet, so it is a fuse and a good one at that.

    Thanks!

      Re: Sharp LC-26SB14U White Screen

Okay guys, I'm pretty much giving up on this TV. Who wants it? Besides this issue, it's otherwise 100% perfect. Comes with remote, power cord and printed out service manual. I've recapped it with Nichicons and still nothing.

I'm not sure what these are worth. It was over $400 new I believe, not long ago. I see people selling just the power board for $150 or so. Considering this tv is fully intact with a good LCD and various other parts (I suspect the logic card is the issue) I think $150 shipped is fair for this. Thoughts on that? Feel free to PM offers if that is out of line.

      Specs:
      Screen Size: 26 - Resolution: 1366 x 768 - Contrast Ratio: 800:1 - Brightness: 500 cd/m2
      Response: 8ms - Viewing Angles (HxV): 160° x 150° - Tuner: NTSC/ATSC/QAM -
ENERGY STAR®: Qualified - Table Top Stand: Included -
      Weight: 24.3 (w/ stand), 20.9 (w/ out stand)
      Dimensions: 26-5/16 x 19-11/16 x 9-9/16 (w/ stand), 26-5/16 x 17-3/4 x 4-9/16

I also have a Samsung Syncmaster 203b with a 2 seconds to black issue also available.

      Let me know!

When you go to test the fuses,I would suggest using the diode setting on the meter. It should make a continuous beep if the fuse is good.On the ohm setting, the reading you get might be because of nearby components, which might make you think the fuse is still good, but it isn't.I hope this helps.Thank You very much!

              Another TV topic!!
I got this sharp TV that when I first plugged it in it showed the sharp logo and then went to the input screen. This was about 30 seconds and then it showed white screen. Now I can't see anything but white screen. This has a separate TCON and Main.

The TCON is getting 12V and several parts are as well but the VGH line is only .5Volts which I thought is totally incorrect.

Am I on the correct assumption that the TCON is bad somehow if I'm only getting that voltage or is there something else I should check?...

              White screen repairs

To ask here... I have few devices with white screen problem, actualy nokia 2220 and some fuji? camera, and try to understand what is common problem to cause that issue.
Yes, both devices work everything else probably ok, I mean, I hear intro melody and keypress click sound, DTMF tone, power on off... all ok.
On desk is nokia 2220 slide, and I check all screen connectors and components arround it, measure voltage drop, but all looks ok. I suspect on slide flex cable, but it look ok and white screen is not interupt while flexing board, pushing conectors, and sliding up down. In attachment...

I'm trying to fix this TV that I got from a friend. It displays a white screen only. What is weird though is that when I first turned it on it appeared to work for a few minutes but then got the white screen and I haven't got the picture back even for a second after that initial time. If I plug in an HDMI device, the audio is played through the TV speakers, and the power button turns the TV on and off.
I've tested the caps on the power supply with an ESR meter while in circuit they seemed within spec.
Tried wiggling the LVDS while on and no change to the white screen. Have removed...

Sharp LC-70UD1U Half screen Normal half screen is white
              by Megan0
My Sharp LC-70UD1U Screen is black and flashing, "I attached the video"

Well, I opened the back cover and as you can see in the picture, I unplugged 2 L (left) ribbon, TV turned ON, but half of screen (Right) is normal, and the other side (Left) is white. I continued to test...
              Result:
I swapped the ribbons L<-->R = Blinking 2x power light, 5x timer light
              Unplugged 2 R Plug 2 L = Blinking 2x power light, 5x timer light
              Unplugged 2 L Plug 2 R = Blinking 2x power light, 5x timer light

Is this white-washed screen caused by a faulty T-Con board or panel? Sharp Aquos c70le735x
              by thesharpfella
Hello esteemed gentlemen. I have owned this LCD TV since 2012. The only repair was the replacement of the PSU a few years ago. Apart from that, no issues. Recently, all was working fine until I switched on to see it appear as so. The day before it was working fine. There is sound. Could this be a T-Con board issue? If not, what could it be? Thank you.
