Hitachi PT61HX40B odd problem

Changed the stks in unit and replaced digital video module if both are in no picture if take out stks get picture not converged (obvious as to why) if take out digital video module nothing ... checked resistors @ stks .....help

Are the STKs the EXACT part number you pulled? I'm assuming that other than bad convergence the set worked ok before changing anything.

Yes the stks are the same....ckd the schematic and are also same number printed

I would tried new stks from another source.

Get STK ICs from good electronic resellers. B & D is one you want to get and trusty.

Also you need to verify voltage are all present as there might be blown fuses upstream.

Have you tried the new STKs with the old digital video module? Just to rule out one or the other. Process of elimination. Definitely check to verify all voltages are present.
I don't have a schematic for that set but is there a video muting circuit? I know some sets will blank the video if there is some other problem to prevent damaging the CRTs.
Maybe try the STKs one at a time to see if maybe one of them is shorted.

finally got picture ... resistor @ stk wrong now video is like two pictures duplicated on same screen .....not double image like convergence ...any advice
