    Hisense H40B5100

    Hi,

Anyone have schematics for TV Hisense H40B5100?
I have one without picture, backlight work.
There are no broken parts with visual inspection.
Any advise what can be wrong?

In my opinion, you have a poorly inserted cable going to the T-con.

Sorry for my late reply...this firmware will solve my problem?
How to update this firmware? Need some special programmer or directly to the IC on mainboard?

Sony KD-65A1 Repair – 4 Red Blinks Error
              by AK_777
              Hi everyone!
I have a Sony KD-65A1 TV with a fault – 4 red LED blinks. After disassembly and visual inspection, I found that the G76 power board and DKA board had been replaced. It is also possible that TCON was replaced, but I am not sure – there are a few marker marks that could be factory-made.

Based on assumptions, the previous service attempted to solve the issue by replacing potentially faulty components. I decided to investigate further, found a service manual, and figured out a way to power up the power supply unit autonomously and put the OLED panel and...

Is it possible bridging tiny broken trace
              by chth96
When I assembled dreamcast I mistakenly fastened long bolt and It resulted in
              cutting tiny trace.
This tiny trace(Total width of white coating is 5.5mm) is between R337,R343 and IC101 and it is covered with white coating in the below screenshot.

Firstly I tried to bridging tiny broken trace with my own eyes...But it is totally impossible..So a week ago, I ordered G1200 Digital Microscope and I magnified this tiny broken trace with it.

But It seems that It is really very tiny trace So I plan to order 0.1mm coper wire from aliexpress in order to bridging...

Hisense stuck in Colors cycle like test pattern.
              by nono34
              Hello,

I accidentally changed the project ID in the service menu of my Vidaa Hisense 100U7KQ TV. When I turn on the TV, the screen displays an RGB color cycle (test mode???). I contacted Hisense, and they sent me a usb_MTK_9618.EU.bin file, but it doesn't work. I can see that the USB drive is being read, and it flashes for about 10 minutes (the screen remains in the color cycle during the firmware reading), then the TV turns off and restarts, but still in the color cycle mode.

I want to mention that the 4GB USB is formatted in FAT32 MBR. I've also renamed the file to...

Trying to fix ZOTAC RTX 3080
              by pastapoulos
              Hi guys,

I bought a broken GPU that I'm trying to fix. The card powers on but isn't detected by the motherboard.

The card is a ZOTAC RTX 3080 Trinity OC 10GB. I can't find any schematics for this model, so it's a bit challenging for me to diagnose it with my limited knowledge.

I haven't found any shorts, and the resistance measurements seem normal.

Upon visual inspection, I noticed an inductor with a small crack (see photos), but I'm not sure if it could be the cause of the issue. Do you think I should replace it? Does anyone have more information...

ASUS Rog Strix G17-712LV Laptop Liquid damaged
              by XxMicroSoldering
              Hello Guys

I have a ASUS Rog strix laptop that I bought recently to fix and the previous owner spilled water on it . He brought it into a repair shop for them to check it out and instead of fixing it they damaged the battery connector of the laptop ! Other than that they damaged damaged nothing . But since the liquid damage the laptop only turns on and the keyboard lights up and then immediately turns off. I really want to repair this laptop and I also have experience in repairing phones etc and laptops and a bit of soldering but the diagnosing part is where I need help with and...
