    Need help with LG 60LB5820 after my repair

    My LG 60" TV began flashing/blinking and I thought it was the backlights. I was inspired by YouTube videos and had a go at the repair. I found one LED that didn't work but listening to advice from professionals I replaced all the strips. Taking it apart was a lot easier than putting it back together, as always, particularly as there was about 5 weeks delivery time for the new LED's. However, I managed to get it all back but now I have these stark vertical lines across the picture, so I've done something wrong.

    I do remember one of the scan drive boards was very tight to re-fit into its clips. Any ideas where i should start to look and don't say the yellow pages, please.

      check at the magnifier the tcon to panel flat cables..

              All fixed. I took it apart again right down to the diffusers and then put it back together. This time I paid careful attention to the tcon and all its cables and they were definitely easier to clip into their retainers. So Davi.p must have been on the money. Thanks mate.

                  Fixed! but the programs aren't any better.

                      Looks like netflix is your best bet for more content in Australia, not a huge fan of netflix but what can you do when choices are limmited. Roku for North America, simple to use, simple=big value.

                              I think he means the tv is now fixed no issues but the broadcasted tv programmes are not very good ie netflix etc etc
