Re: LG 43UK6200PLA - yellowish picture
The other side didn't flicker. I will probably leave it as is for now. When I block pins similarly to videos you shared (10-12 pins at once) the picture would be solid but discolored.Comment

it is strange, I believe this is the only tape fix I have seen on here, where the tv was left flickering.Comment

There is probably more to the solution than what I did. I'm going to leave it as is and maybe in the future try again.Comment

Re: LG 43UK6200PLA - yellowish picture
I have an 86” tv of this “uk” series with similar problem.
If I cover pins 13-15 I get a perfect picture with no flicker at all but lose color. (Magenta) specifically.
If I didn’t cover pin 15 the screen flickers as you mentioned. From what I can tell there is never a perfect picture when using the tape method, One way or another the picture gets degraded somehowComment

by JJAAMMThis was my main TV for the last 6 years. I'm not inclined to throw out a $2600 TV so quickly so I'm trying to investigate the issue.
Problem
TV was disconnected from power for 6 months during construction. When I plugged it yesterday picture was fine, after 30 seconds it dimmed then started developing horizontal lines, picture then starts to ghost vertically until it degrades into vertical streaks. TV always displays a perfect picture when cold. I can unplug TV for 5 minutes and plug it back in and picture is restored for 20 seconds. I can also keep it in standby mode... -
by noisykid5.5 year old 85 inch Sony Bravia X950G started showing gray horizontal lines across the bottom of the screen and the picture shifts slightly vertically when it happens. The lines sometimes get bigger/smaller vertically and bounce back. See the video for the problem. It seems to be happening after it warms up after an hour or so. Happens regardless of source. Right now there's nothing but power cable connected and it's happening. We did hook up a new Nintendo Switch to our HDMI switching receiver today, and played for a while with no issues, but this problem didn't occur til a few hours later while...

by kcaHello all ~
Hope this finds you well. This LG 82UN8570AUD (April 2021 model) 4K UHD television has full audio capabilities but video is compromised / problematic.
When I picked up this large LG tv it had a full black screen upon startup. Previous owner said it just went black one day. No popping sound or anything else of note.
I got the display to work by taping off several traces of the right-hand side ribbon cable on the TCON that leads from TCON to PANEL. However, despite dozens and dozens of attempts to find the right combination / range of traces taped... -

by hendueHello everyone,
I was trying to fix the monitor, which was giving me the following pictures:
It was somehow reactive, such that if I pressed the buttons, the lines changed in positions or if i moved e.g. a task window, it would somehow change the patter, too.
I swapped out the mainboard without any luck. So I thought that it has to be an issue with the panel itself and was trying to assess whats wrong on the control board of the panel.
Somehow, I managed to short the LVDS protection with a MOSFETS cooler on the PCB.
I turned around...6 Photos-
