Re: Grundig 40VLE4421 - no picture
I finally fixed the backlight, I tested one by one led diode with the instrument in diode mode and the 39th out of 40 in total was broken, When tested with the led tester it lights up again and then shows as if it is good. Then I connected it to a rectifier with a stronger current and then it stopped working, I guess this happened all the time before.
I replaced that diode and now the backlight works every time.
As this was my fifth time disassembling this TV, the screen cracked last time, but there was a picture when the backlight was working.
Now when turning on the GRUNDIG inscription appears, then a black screen appears, then GRUNDIG again, which quickly fades and only a black screen remains. neither the menu screen nor the TV responds to the remote.
I'm confused if it's because of the cracked screen or if it's the motherboard?
The TV does not have a separate T-CON board.Comment

by Tr0llHi guys! I realized you have a lot of knowledge here so i am hoping you could point me in right direction with my odd issue.
The Tv is a Philips 58PUS8545/12, it had no picture but working backlights.
Original T-con:
Opened the Tv and tested to unplug one ribbon cable at a time. With this test i could see that i got fine picture on both halves as long as there was only one ribbon cable connected, with two connected picture were gone.
First replacement T-con:
I thought it might be t-con and ordered new t-con from china(supposedly tested)... -

by betmenI bought this used TV as defective, it does not show any picture or menu screen.
When it is turned on, there is no picture, but the backlight works.
The motherboard is ZG7190R-9 and it is probably defective.
Through ads I can buy a cheap TV Grundig tv 43 gua 7000 Barcelona with a broken screen. How can I find out which motherboard is in that TV because if it doesn't match I wouldn't buy it.
Stickers from both TVs are attached.... -
by LEECH666Good day ladies and gentleman!
I am currently trying to repair a Grundig Vision 9 37 9880 T USB LCD TV for a friend that has a weird audio problem. Basically everything works fine except for the heavily distorted sound when the Subwoofer module is connected and there is a buzzing sound coming from the PSU PCB.
This seems to be a rather rare TV so there is not much prior on topic help to be found however a service manual is available at the usual sources (Electro Tanya i.e.).
I think the PSU buzzing comes from one of the coils near the bridge rectifier but... -
by PipolupsHi there !
I'm having an issue for several weeks with my quite old K70 LUX RGB keyboard. I haven't used it for few months, and once I setup up again my desktop computer, I got several dead LEDs on that keyboard. I tried the Corsair troubleshooting thing (disabling options in iCUE, ...) but nothing changed so I conclude that for some reason some LEDs went in retirement...😅
Decision taken to change these LEDs as I have access to desoldering iron and binocular magnifier, I wrote a ticket to tech support, hopping to obtain the LEDs reference and... They refused to tell me 🙄...10-08-2024, 11:58 AM - Loading...
