Re: Sharp LED TV flashing green 2x per second - LC-70LE735X, DPS-222BP, RUNTKA857WJQZ
Noted this MB is not the exact same model as mine, and didn't notice the one big IC missing.. It's was S$20+ vs the exact model that cost S$200+, so ya, no luck..
The resale prices of this T is S$200-$500, so not planning to invest S$200+ for a MB..
So, unless or until an exactly model MB comes along, this will be the end of road for this expedition.
Thank you, Diah, Nomoresonys, and everyone for your coaching all the way.
Have a pleasant time here in the forum.

start with compare the wiring chart of the replament MB and original at the socket which connect to PCB from down side. to be sure PS_ON line and other are the same. also you have one socket more on the replacment & - one IC..
at the end it sound the replament not related to yours Model.Leave a comment:

Re: Sharp LED TV flashing green 2x per second - LC-70LE735X, DPS-222BP, RUNTKA857WJQZ
Hello again! Sourced a closest MB I can find without costing an arm..
Plugged and powered up - red led flashing 1x, slowly.
Tried all the forced restart procedures:
1) CHN- n VOL- : no effect
2) CHN+ n VOL- : no effect
3) CHN- n VOL+ : no effect
4) CHN+ n VOL+ : no effect
5) INPUT n VOL- : no effect
6) INPUT n VOL+ : no effect
Red led remains slow flashing 1x.
PD15 (BU+5) : 4.95V
The rests (odd number pins) all 0V.
Not sure if the new old MB faulty or not compatible, or is there other procedure after replacing the MB?Last edited by beetle1303; 05-20-2022, 02:03 AM.Leave a comment:

well it was working, then you messed with the mainboard connector, I think you tried to over-fix it, not good, maybe same as before re-check your work.Last edited by nomoresonys; 04-26-2022, 07:50 AM.Leave a comment:

poists 2, not exactly, becuase the LED indicator connected to MB not PCB, and the first points when PCB send BU5V this will be used to LED indicatore and to start the SPI Flash.
i thinl STB they mean start BL circuit. because other to tuen on 13 and panel 12 are clear.
any way. its good if you rework the socket on MB take it out clean the solder and resolder it again correct... who knows could we have different sign. since LED BL worked after rework soldering then do it on the MB socket too.
Anyone has any document or reference to Sharp booting sequence/hand-shaking protocols? I personal feel this would be a very help guide on focusing problem solving on Power Board first or Mainboard first.Leave a comment:

Re: Sharp LED TV flashing green 2x per second - LC-70LE735X, DPS-222BP, RUNTKA857WJQZ
While waiting for MB, I was googling for a Sharp TV boot sequence/hand-shaking, but did not find a complete documentation.
This is what I guessed based on the conversions:
1) Powered up - PD15 BU5V gets 4.96V to MB
2) MB send PD24 STB 4.7V, turns on red standby indicator light
3) Pressed power button, MB sends PD14 PS_ON 4.95V to PSU
4) PSU turns on PD5-8 UR13. 2V 13.05V, and sends PD13 AC_DET 3. 27V to MB
5) MB sends PD16 PNL_POW 4.58V to PSU
6) PSU turns on PD1-2 PNL12V 11. 92V
7) MB sends PD19 Dimmer 0.14V and PD21 OFL 4.16V
8) PSU turns on BL!
Besides obviously more and various checks and sensing for and between each step, is this close enough, or far from being correct?Leave a comment:

After a good night sleep rejoicing the romantic backlight, we thought of summarizing which PD pins must be jumped in turn on the BL. So a created a matrix, and start testing each combination.
To my horror - none of the combinations work and no more BL!!!
After several trial and errors - all jump wires are with 850ohm resistor, and only one with 983ohm, and it turns out, PD-21 OFL on only work with this 983ohm resistor, not the 850ohm ones!
Also, PD-19 Dimmer is not necessary for this work on also.Leave a comment:

at this moment i wouldn't care of this since PD-22 (ERROR) =0 V mean no error.
MB signal are not only V. its pules freq. we can see there are several pins need signal..
i never read some one successfully to run the BL on at this PCB all are one click.. one things more this BL had nothings to do with main fault.. because MB just one signal send PS_ON no other signal as the cpu communication failed.Leave a comment:

well I should have mentioned checking the solder joints, I guess I preach it so much I just assumed I already did, I must be slipping.Last edited by nomoresonys; 04-23-2022, 10:48 AM.Leave a comment:

Hello everyone,
I'm currently diagnosing a MacBook Pro A1707 motherboard that does not power on. I've gathered some data but am stuck and need expert advice.
Note that i'm a beginner in electronics and i'm trying to learn while trying to repair this macbook that my work gave me. I'm really curious and love understanding how thing works and i already learned so much.
Only one usb c port is taking 20v and have 12.5v on PPBUS_G3H. when trying other ports, 2 are not going to 20v and one is going to 20v but the CD3215 is getting really hot.

by triplefourHello all
got another TV here im puzzled by. why cant they all be easy fixes that just need a little love and some tape???
anyway i go to this guys house to look at an ONN 100012588
this is my first time looking at one of these brand of TV's.
TBH i have low expectations because i see ONN as the cheap walmart brand that suddenly popped up selling the cheapest version of all kinds of tech things. and someone sent me a ONN flash drive with some data on it with some recordings they wanted me to check out and it immediately broke and corrupted the data and i was unable to... -
by beetle1303My wine chiller, TECNO SW-126LCD, is semi-functional - it powers up, can set temperature, and chilled to the set temperature, and cuts off compressor, etc. It however runs very hot.
Upon taken out the PSU and did some basic check - 5V output to LCD panel buttons and display is stable, but there is no 12V output to LED lights, and fans.
Further checks found the secondary side voltage is fluctuating around 8-15V range, but the 7805 regulator seems ok and producing the stable 5V output.
Checking further on the primary side: Incoming line input to bridge... -
by ronelexHello
I got this unit with orange light but wont boot up
I notice that its L7560 3.3v supply is fluctuating
this is the reading I got on its PWM U7501 TPS51890A
pin 4- EN1 - 0v
pin 12 - EN - 3.3v Fluctuate
pin 21 - EN2 - 3.3v Fluctuate
pin 22 - vreg3 - 3.3v ok
pin 23 - vin - 8.62V
pin 29 - vreg5- 5v fluctuate
I already check the power rails line in page 62 but I didn't find any short on those lines. I already tried replacing the pwm but same issue.
I hope you can guide me where I can look for the fault of this... -
by mferna14Hi all., I am working on a MacBook 12" Retina Logic Board # 820-00045-A. It does not turn on. The Amp meter show 20v & the amps are around 0.01 ~ 0.05V . Upon checking all the power rails, till PP5V_S4 all is fine, getting full stable 5V on this rail but when I check PP5V_S0, it is fluctuating 5V , after a sec it goes to 0V & comes back again to 5v. This is happening continously. I checked for any short to GRD in diode mode but none. For where is this PP5V_S0 generated?? No liquid spill, logic board is very clean. Any help or tips will be great appreciated. Thanks
