FF 3.6.13 and NO circle w/ down arrow next to Type PDF, nor any link to Get Manual. I enable scrips for the site too, so it's not a script problem. Like I said, poorly designed site.

This isn't a video on how to fix a TV; this is a demonstration on how NOT to make a video.

          1. Mount the camera on a tripod or at least get someone competent to handle the camera. The jerking around is distracting.

          2. Lose the background 'music'. You are making an instructional video, not a music video.

          3. Rehearse. The bit with the recessed screw was unnecessary - and distracting.

          4. A tip - on most TVs you will find an arrow pointing to each screw that has to be removed to remove the back.

          5. I was going to agree with your self-assessment at 4:55, but at least you did warn people to NOT buy the caps from Radio Shack. On the other hand, the claim about going up in voltage, and the failure to mention that the replacements must be low ESR caps left it close to the truth.

I have been following this thread, as I have the same problem and the same unit as the first guy. I does not look like anything got fixed or diagnosed.

Here's the deal. There perhaps a dozen of us regulars who help people with TV problems. It is now 9:37 PM. My day began at 4:30 AM. I am NOT going to read through all three pages of this thread to try to figure out what problem you are having.

Post a clear, concise description of the problem and a single clear picture of the back of your TV with the rear cover removed. Attach it using 'Manage Attachments'.
