    Sharp TV - error reset!

There are many TV Sharp models that have a memory lock on the motherboard. When the backlight or power supply fails and the TV is turned on 5 times or more, the lock will turn on.

And even if you repair the faulty nodes, the TV will not turn on. In this case, the network indicator flashes first green and then red.

Description of how to restore the TV.

    1. Unplug the power cord while holding the source button (AVTV) and the volume down button.

    2. Insert the plug into the socket (without releasing the buttons held before).

    3. When the screen appears, release the buttons.

    4. The letter K will appear on the screen. This is the factory debug mode. In this mode, there are only two levels of volume up and down: 15 and 30.

    5. Press and hold V - and CH. - simultaneously. The English menu will appear.

    6. Using the arrow buttons on the TV remote control, switch to the second page of the menu.

    7. On the first column of the second page, click - reset to factory settings. Or, in some models, select the item "ERROR NO RESET" (error reset, the number is equal to the number of faults) .Reset errors.

    8. Then unplug the power plug.

    TV should turn on.

Re: sharp LC40ELE 600E standby only faulty backlight

PROGRESS the 9v leds arrived from China .once replaced ,yes you guessed it same symptom
and still refusing to enter s mode
so i removed one of the original strips ,and one of the repaired ones, then fed them from b/l tester to compare volts and current drawn (on test bench)
            there was a 3v difference .
            the repaired strips were 170v
            the original were 173.2 v
just as experiment i added one 3v led to each of the repaired strips
and now i can enter s mode
i have to tidy up strips and glue lenses back on and will run it for hours before refitting screen ,then im hoping i can clear the lamp error detection
the original leds when tested in tv (not with b/l tester ) have 10v across them and the replacements have 8.9v this makes me think that the original ones are 10v not 9v .
for the cct to work properly each strip must draw the same current ,and have same volts across .
and its a very sensitive design that compares each of the 9 strips im now taking a break from this headscratcher .but will update final results ive just noticed one led not lit ,i will look into it and post back
i may try to buy some 10v leds if they are available.as i dont like giving up

just replaced it ,maybe ,me being an optomist ,
i may have heated it up too much when fitting
tv now comes in and out of sby no problem ,its now ot soak test

Damn what a sensitive tv, wonder if there's a way to adjust the sensitivity that's making it shut down, not disable of course because it's definitely needed for safety.

i trawled the net to find such a thing ,no luck
perhaps someone out there knows a way to desensitise the error protection
.i studied the cct for hours

Corsair K70 LUX RGB dying LEDs
                    by Pipolups
                    Hi there !

I'm having an issue for several weeks with my quite old K70 LUX RGB keyboard. I haven't used it for few months, and once I setup up again my desktop computer, I got several dead LEDs on that keyboard. I tried the Corsair troubleshooting thing (disabling options in iCUE, ...) but nothing changed so I conclude that for some reason some LEDs went in retirement...😅
Decision taken to change these LEDs as I have access to desoldering iron and binocular magnifier, I wrote a ticket to tech support, hopping to obtain the LEDs reference and... They refused to tell me 🙄...

Sharp 70' LEDs Spike 260v at start up?
                    by JayPoorJay
Hi all. This is my second thread. Have a bunch of questions.

I got my hands on a 70 inch Sharp Aquos LC70EQ10U. Not working when I found it.

I replaced the power board (found in eBay) and the TV finally produced an image. Reset it had image and sound.. Went from 2 slow and 2 fast blinks as a fault code to 1 slow 1 fast fault. Lamps or inverters according to the manual. TV is one now, at this moment (looks great w/ ZERO dark spots on screen) but it powering up and producing an image is unpredictable. 3 out of 10 times.

There are 3 leads to the LEDs....

Is this white-washed screen caused by a faulty T-Con board or panel? Sharp Aquos c70le735x
                    by thesharpfella
Hello esteemed gentlemen. I have owned this LCD TV since 2012. The only repair was the replacement of the PSU a few years ago. Apart from that, no issues. Recently, all was working fine until I switched on to see it appear as so. The day before it was working fine. There is sound. Could this be a T-Con board issue? If not, what could it be? Thank you.

Zombie Samsung UN55NU6900F dead / no standby voltage - randomly came to life after hours of troubleshooting then died
                    by tvguy12012012120
This is my first attempt at troubleshooting a board like this, I know I could just buy a new board but I'm curious to figure out how this works. I've been testing different components in the evenings this week and I think the problem is with the IC failing to start up for some reason. When the board is plugged in there is no standby voltage.

Then today it randomly sprung to life like a zombie but shortly died thereafter. I have no idea why it would have done that and its the first time I've seen it running. I discharged capacitors on the board last night, then it was sitting today....
