    Re: Samsung UN60J6200AFXZA

This is an always on power supply, it does not use a seperate circuit for standby. I suspect you may have shorted the A13V not the ps_on, so start by checking for a shorted output diode, DM851, DM853~DM856

Using HOT GROUND )JP823/JP824) check the dc voltage on SP7 (DM810 Anode) This is the main ic VCC voltage

if all that checks out theres a bunch of resistors on the underside to test, one of the ic's on the underside could be bad.

Going to need better pictures of power board.
I assume no responsibility for any stupid suggestions I might post.

No STBY =0V with just the power cord plugged in

You could be correct on shorting A13V
All diodes check good EXCEPT DM851C , It has 3 pins and all are shorted (in circuit) using a multimeter in Diode mode.
This IC is marked "B5C04 SDB1080". I googled SDB1080 and it turns out to be a "Dual common cathodeSchottky rectifier" correct?
Will now order this part to replace....

Also, since this part is suspected bad, checking hot ground, JP823 to SP7 would not show any voltage....correct? and when working, what should this VCC voltage value be?

And you doublechecked your fuse. Outputs are usually protected from shorts by their controllers.

sure seems bad, I'd take it out and check it out of circuit.

If DM851 is shorted it will shut down the power supply, There should be vcc voltage on the primary ic but it will be low as there will be no feedback voltage to keep it up. You may be lucky and it is only DM851 bad

Out of circuit , pins 1 (anode) and 2 (cathode) are shorted. Now awaiting new rectifier delivery.
                        Also,
Befoe removing rectifier. DC voltage between JP823 and SP7 = 11.1V

Until I get the new DM851 delivered, are there any other i can probe other than the diodes and restors which are already done? I am fairly competent with electronics (scope and multimiter in hand) but without a circuit diagram, I am "walking in the dark" without your guidance....

There is nothing to check until you have the diode in place and the power supply is back in operation.

                              Rerplaced DM851C, D9001C and Q9001C
The good news; The power supply works and the LEDs all light. Main Board & Tcon are all functional

The Bad News: the LCD screen is cracked.
Thanks for all your help and guidance.

If any one needs ALL known good working PCBs, Cables etc. I am willing to consider a reasonable offer.
                              Thaks again!

                                  Hi to all,

I was given this TV, an entry-level 4K 50" set. Some have criticized its lack of contrast and relatively poor colour rendering, but for my needs, it's very decent.

I reset everything to factory settings, but this line keeps on fading in and out when watching a streaming channel from the Tizen firmware. Interestingly, it only happens when TV is warm, after about 1h45 of it being turned on.

Watching a movie from an external source doesn't trigger the line as easily (needs 2 hours), and from a normal viewing distance, is hardly noticeable. It...
