Hi R_J,
Rerplaced DM851C, D9001C and Q9001C
The good news; The power supply works and the LEDs all light. Main Board & Tcon are all functional

The Bad News: the LCD screen is cracked.
Thanks for all your help and guidance.

If any one needs ALL known good working PCBs, Cables etc. I am willing to consider a reasonable offer.
Thaks again...

Until I get the new DM851 delivered, are there any other i can probe other than the diodes and restors which are already done? I am fairly competent with electronics (scope and multimiter in hand) but without a circuit diagram, I am "walking in the dark" without your guidance.......

Out of circuit , pins 1 (anode) and 2 (cathode) are shorted. Now awaiting new rectifier delivery.
Also,
Befoe removing rectifier. DC voltage between JP823 and SP7 = 11.1V...

R_J
You could be correct on shorting A13V
All diodes check good EXCEPT DM851C , It has 3 pins and all are shorted (in circuit) using a multimeter in Diode mode.
This IC is marked "B5C04 SDB1080". I googled SDB1080 and it turns out to be a "Dual common cathodeSchottky rectifier" correct?
Will now order this part to replace....

Also, since this part is suspected bad, checking hot ground, JP823 to SP7 would not show any voltage....correct? and when working, what should this VCC voltage...

All cables put back into position.
With Power applied,
STBY = 0 volts
All pins on connectors to main board and LED strips =0Volts
Checked new LEDs fro Shopjimmy all tested good each with a 27Volt battery

Pluged everything back together...
STBY= 0Volts
All Pins read 0 Volts no red light indication of teh Power coming on.

Perhaps teh rectifier circuit is bad? I have no schematics so cannot probe down to the component level...
Any Help appreciated...

Pressing power button does not turn on power supply.
I tested the new leds, each strip, with 27V batteries...

Hi DSKALL
I have to update the above voltage readings as follows.
Before the voltages all went to zero, and thru the probing process, i accidentally Shorted Pin 6 (PS_On) and Pin8 (GND) on the CNM803 connector.

Before this occured, the readings were as follows
Voltage readings at present with the above replacements:
STBY=12.7V with reference to chassis GND.
With the LED Connector removed
On Connector: CNL802
pin1+ to pin 4:S- = 0V
pin6:S+ to pin 9-=0V
STBY =12.7V
Voltage...

Hi DSKALL,

Here are the details on my Samsung UN60J6200AFXZA.
Symptom:
When Tv turned on, no backlight, has sound and does have an image when I used a flashlight.
What have I done so far:

a.) Replaced bad LEDs with new ones from ShopJimmy...did not resolve symptom
On Power Supply Board BN44-00775A
b) Replaced Diode D9001C and MosFet Q9001C...did not resolve the problem
c) Replaced QP801CS, QP802CS and CP805...did not resolve the problem

Disconnected Mother...

Default Re: Samsung UN60J6200AFXZA....no backlights but a picture
Hi I need help with a UN60J6200AFXZA
- installed New LED strips from Shop Jimmy..
- No Backlights when Main Board is disconnected.
- Replaced LED Diode, D9001C and MOSFET Q9001C
O Volt reading (between Black and Grey wires on LED connector) when LED cable is disconnected
- Replaced QP801CS and QP802CS
Still O Volt reading (between Black and Grey wires on LED connector) when LED cable is disconnected
Any ideas?
thanks
