Hello all, new member here. I replaced the LED strips and found that the BL can be turned on with the TCON board and LCD panel disconnected. So new LED strips are working fine. Now the problem. There are 3 diffuser sheets on this set. One sheet is thicker than the others and I know it goes in first next to the LED strips. But one side of this sheet has a rougher texture than the other side. Does the rough side go up or down? The 2 thinner sheets have tabs that will only allow them to be installed one way so that's good. One sheet is what I would call plain translucent. The other sheet is whiter and u can see some "snowflake" looking specs in it and also some rainbow colors when looking at it from an angle. Which of these sheets goes on top next to the LCD panel? thanks, Lee

This is an LG edge LED lit LCD Display. The LEDs are on the bottom edge of the display. There are 2 bars (left and right) Each bar has many LEDs and a 6 pin connector. Each pin drive several LEDs thus is the highest current flow / heat junction. The weak lead free solder gradually fails with thermal expansion/contraction cycling and increases resistance. PSU will compensate up to a point, then when the current is too high, PSU just shut down the backlight causing a dark display. I have even seen one which the connector just fell off as solder points became completely detached....-

by KingfreddieOk.. this is the story:
Have an old Samsung LED 3D TV (UE55F6475). First it started to lose light on the lower 40% of the screen now and then. Like for 10-60 mins and then it would work again. Then a bit later it just got stuck in that position. The lower 40% of the screen is dark, and it gets progressively darker the lower u go so it's obviously that LED strips where not working. I also looked for similar errors online and saw an exact copy and on that one it was faulty LED strips.
This is kinda how it looked, just that mine were at the bottom of the screen:

by V3dranHello,
I'm trying to repair a UE50NU7022KXXH with a cracked diffuser/lpg and now also with burned leds
There are 4/5 white spots on the bottom that are not visible since the left side is dark now so I want to change the diffuser/lpg
Looking the samsung spare parts, I see that there is a DIFFUSER PLATE and a LPG so I'm wondering what is really broken?

by repair-itI purchased a 43" LG 4k TV last year that was discounted due to damage. The diffuser has a mild ripple in it at the top of the screen. It is a bit annoying. I'm not sure if I can use mild/low heat (iron on a flat surface) to fix it, I'm sure these panels are made using heat but I don't want to add to the problem. I'd also like to know of a resource that sell replacements, if anyone knows of one. This is the very top translucent sheet that is right behind the LED panel.
thanks,

by David StroeI am trying to repair my monitor that shows image but the backlight is not turning on. I think either the power supply is not working properly or the LED strip is failing, which seems unlikely (the whole strip is off).
I really need help in finding the data sheets for this monitor's boards. The data sheets I need are for the following boards:
Power Supply: 715GA907-P03-000-001S and 715GA721-P01-000-0H4K
Main Board: 715G9500-M0C-B00-005K
T-CON Board: 19Y_270_EU3MQ_SR_V02_HF
If someone could please provide any of these data sheets, it would be awesome....-
