    Samsung/Vizio PS-42 power supply

Working on a cheap Vizio VP422 that has no power.

I have a full set of spare boards, but it appears that I have two bad power supplies. They are Samsung model PS-42.

The one currently in the TV has no blown fuses. The relay cycles when power is applied, but no voltages are present other than the PFC B+. The LED flashes twice repeatedly.

The other PSU has a shorted IC and blown fuse.

Any idea where I might find a schematic for this set, or at least the PSU?

This thing is a nightmare to work on physically... Once the screws for the back cover are removed, the whole case falls apart. The Planar TV's I worked on recently (also built by Samsung) had nice strong frames and normal back covers.

The power supply with the blown fuse my be easier to troubleshoot. shorted caps or mosfets. I am new to tvs. I love dead stuff. Can`t make it any worse and almost always easy to troublshoot. is this a plasma or lcd? again, still learning!
