I dont have this in my hands yet but was curious if anybody has seen this. He says it powers on then shuts down after 2 minutes. In the pic it has text that reads remain time 2 minutes.

Perhaps it's because there is no input signal so the set automatically powers down or the sleep timer is set.Willing to help but I'm no expert. -

I did get luck on one occaision. The set had an on/off switch at the rear and someone had switched it off and that was the only problem.Willing to help but I'm no expert.Comment

Well this is a new one, maybe brought over from China. It was in English and I stupidly did a reset and now all Chinese. Need to order remote for it , buttons are finicky.Attached FilesComment

Yeah buttons on bottom, they were kinda working before reset. Had to be pushed several time to get response but no response not in the language.Comment

Well finally got it back to English and seems to be running fine, I got it for my travel trailer and I guess China uses a different connector then coxial. Any idea if I can get an adapter for it use antenna.Attached FilesComment

The adaptor could be "9.5mm PAL TV Connector to F Female Antenna Connector/RF Connector for CATV"

I'm stumped on this guy, so wanted to see if anyone has any further ideas:
Intro:
This is an Acer Nitro 5 AN515-55-55M1 with unknown prior history (bought "as-is" on eBay). It charges the battery and powers on from both AC adapter and battery, so I think this rules out main power issues.
Upon attempt to boot, it will "reboot" (meaning powers down and then powers on again) only once, and then stays stuck in a status of lights on / no post / no monitor. Powering on with fn+esc maxes out the fans on first boot attempt,... -
Powers on as normal shows an image then powers off after 10 seconds
I have to unplug it from the wall and replug to get it to turn back on but then shuts off
No blown caps

I am new to this forum and have searched for some answers with problems similar to mine.
Philips TV powers on as normal for about a minute or less then click and no power at all not even standby light. If i disconnect from mains and reconnect it will power on again but for a shorter time. Once i leave it disconnected from main for a longer time it will power on for a longer period the next time.
It sounds like a power supply issue?
I have the board out and want to run some tests. Not sure what i should be doing but i put a 1k resistor across SB and +5v... -
Laptop Model: DELL Precision 3520 Motherboard: CDP80 LA-E152P Rev 1.0 (A00)
Issue: The laptop powers on automatically after being shut down.
Actions Taken by Technician:
BIOS reflashed
Intel ME region cleared
Result: Issue still persists
Additional Observations:
Power button reads 3.3V (normal)
The problem occurs both when running on battery and when connected to AC adapter... -
I replaced the backlights all good. Two months later set was dead, had a shorted D9100, replaced all good again.
Now months later set powers up,backlights light ok,no picture. 12volts missing from fuse on tcon. 12VA on power
supply is 19 volts. Changed D9100 again, same, 12 volts measures 19. Am I looking at a power supply or mainboard
issue. Set will power up with remote but not power off....
