How to find Hitachi TV model without back label?

    Hi,
I have purchased a faulty Hitachi TV from internet and I have now fixed it (backlight issue).

However, it came without a remote control. The back label is missing, I don't know the model so I don't know what remote control needs.

The seller has no clue or record of it.

What I know so far is this:
    - it's a Hitachi
    - 49-50 inches screen
    - seems to be a smart TV (seller also said this)
    - I have attached some pictures with the inside

Does anyone know how to find out what remote control I need for it please?

    Thank you,
    George

    It needs a hitachi(vestel RC5117 RC5118 ) remote control. Tv model is 50HYT62UH

Or you can turn it on pressing the little joystick on the right of the scart connector.

Top man, thank you! Yet another TV saved from being disposed.

I have managed to turn it on from the little joystick but still needs a remote.

Just curious, do you know the difference between RC5117 and RC5118? I see on the auctions website that some sellers call it "NEW UPDATED RC5117 Remote Control" and wonder what makes the difference?

      Cheers

Maybe just a marketing trick. They are pretty much the same. Only the netflix, youtube, smart buttons are changed slightly. Its better if you buy local and not on ebay There are some really great techs on UK. Cheers

hitachi 75hl16t64u - not responding to remote control
          by dfear
I have a hitachi 75hl16t64u tv in for repair and it is driving me crazy.
It came in for a power issue which I have finally resolved by replacing the power supply.

The current issue is that the TV does not respond to the remote control. I have replaced the IR sensor board with a used one but the fault persists.

Anyone have a clue how to fix TV?

FYI: I have checked the remote work s by pointing it at my camera on my phone....

This happened last Saturday and today I finally had time this morning before I went to work to replace two non brand capacitors

I will let you be the judge weather or not these are bad or not according to the blue ESR meter that I am using

I am comparing them to a brand new one that I installed

The display came back on and the programming was not lost which I was surprised by I would have thought that when the display went blank that so did the memory as well

I going to let it run for several days before I remount back on the wall next to the...
