    Nutec LCD 3201 (NUE 3201)

    Hi all,

Yes, it is me here in Australia again, seeking any assistance if it is available...cheers

I have searched the forum for any previous threads on this model television, but have been unable to find any to date.

It is an older model, however has been an old faithful for a long time.

The tv, when powered on, only shows the red power led light indicating it has power, but will not respond to any remote control codes, nor will it respond to the side mounted menu and other buttons on it.

I imagine it may be bad caps or something to do with a power supply, but I have not yet removed the back panel to take a look.

I have however read the Basic LCD TV and Monitor troubleshooting guides.
    https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthr...956#post305956

and will look at those suggestions and call back here for help in the meantime if I can't see any damage to any caps etc.

I have googled all day looking for any remote service codes as well as a manual that may assist, but have been unsuccessful to date.

If anyone has had any experience with this television, and have any advice, then it sure would be appreciated.

    Thank you.

You probably already did the simple crap, like unplug for 15 minutes then try it or unplug tv hold in power button on tv for a minute then plug in and try it.

Nothing appears on a quick search of the internet for that set so it looks like some photo's of your circuit boards would prove useful.
Willing to help but I'm no expert.

Failing something simple probably need to take the back cover off, look for obvious things first, bulging caps etc: test the voltages at the connector on the powerboard with EVERYTHING hooked up, it's the connector that the cable from powerboard to mainboard hooks into, most times there's a legend/map nearby that gives the expected voltages, you measure them with your mutimeter, set meter to 20 vdc then report them, put neg probe on chassis metal ground, pos probe on pin of connector, measure in standby take note, leave probes where they are then power on tv and again take note of voltages, report them here, example pin 1-ps-on-0 volts standby-power on-3.3 volts.

              Hi,
I have removed the back panel, and here are some shots of the inside.

I cannot see any damage, and am hoping you may be able to identify some parts from these photos, as well as some checking I could do?

Many thanks as usual, and I shall watch the video as instructed.

              Thanks.

See the legend of voltages in picture #7, do the test in post #5 on the connector right there and report the voltages both in standby and when you turn it on, if it doesn't power on then just report the voltages it has in standby.

Can you post a full photo of your power supply board. I see there's an inverter board so perhaps a photo of the connection back on the power supply would be useful.

                  Edit
It looks like the upper connectors are the 24V supply to the inverter board. Have you checked you have 24V?

DeLonghi AC Remote only accepts 3V
                      by cstout
Hello all, I've been looking into this portable air conditioner's remote control and can't find what could be causing the problem - or possibly this remote is just terribly designed.

The remote only works at exactly 3V - if I drop it any lower, using my bench power supply, to say, 2.9V then the remote will not flash the display and turn off. I don't have any AAA batteries that are exactly 1.5V each so I'm not sure if this remote is designed this way - to only use the freshest possible batteries, or if there's a failed component in the mix.

                      I can't find any schematics...

Toshiba 50lf711u20 fire tv remote not pairing
                      by Mc_Millian
                      Hello everyone,

I was wondering if anyone could help my in pairing a remote with a Toshiba fire tv?
The Tv model number is: 50lf711u20 Rev B.

I've already replaced all the the circuit boards within the tv along with the I.R. sensor receiver.

I've tried 3 different remotes which should be fully compatible with this TV.

Oddly enough. A few if the buttons on all of the remotes actually work. Even without pairing...which makes no sense.

The power button, along with the volume, back, select, and directional...

                      by edugimeno
Hi! I have this TV set that does the following:
                      1) I press the red power button on the remote
                      2) The TV turns on normally
                      3) After that it won't take any other command from the remote, neither power off, volume, channel, NOTHING
                      4) We need to either pull the main cable or use the built in button at the bottom to select funcion OFF

Then after it's off, it would again accept the TURN ON from the remote and same again

                      BUT:
-The remote does show the correct IR beam while observed thru a phone camera
-The TV works fine while using the MiRemote...

Pioneer VSX-522-K remote control not working???
                      by tmhobadcap
I have this receiver for at least 10 years. Usually, we just use the remote for turning on/off and adjusting the volume. Recently, the remote control started not able to turn the receiver on. Later, the volume also could not be adjusted by the remote control.

At first, I thought that it was the usual problem which can be fixed by cleaning the contacts on the switches and the pcb. I opened the remote and clean it with alcohol. The remote did work again after that. But after one day, it did not work again. I opened it again and clean with alcohol and contact cleaner. Again it worked...

Please help, where can I get a remote for my subwoofer?
                      by rustinjust
I’ve got a subwoofer that I’ve had for nearly 20 years, it did come with a basic remote which I’ve lost. It’s a generic make of subwoofer, I can’t see a brand sticker on it. It comes with 2 speakers.

Question recently I’ve connected it up to my tv which has greatly improved the sound on my tv, however I’d like to be able to mute the subwoofer when ads come on or just mute it when the phone rings etc. I tried using a cheap all in one tv remote on the subwoofer and the volume button would only work to increase volume but not turn it down or mute it

                      Is there...
