    Try cleaning both LVDS cables.

After 10 to 15 minutes sounds like a heating up issue. Have you tried heating up areas of the board when you first switch on with a hairdrier to see if you can identify any component which when warmed up, clears the picture problem.
Willing to help but I'm no expert.

Looks like this set has a common problem with three smd transistors. Search eBay for your model number to see.

Your symptoms don't match but perhaps this is where the tv is headed without intervention ?

This was the first thing I did.

These motherboards have a lot of problems with BGA soldering on the main chip, but you can try other easier and reversible solutions before going for a reflow or reballing attempt, like heating up only the main chip suggested by dick barton, if that fixes or makes the problem appear it's most certainly it.

                Hi,

That problem looks exactly like one that I had with a 42LV5500.
It is the solder joints on the main processor.
Baking the board in an oven will NOT fix it on a permanent basis.

The correct way to repair it is to use a service that removes the chip and replaces the solder paste and remounts the chip.
I have had very good experiences with Nick's TV in Arizona.

You need to check his web site with the main board number and see if he offers the service for that board. Prices are listed for the repair but you will need to determine the shipping to their facility and return shipping.
