I picked up a 2013 Samsung plasma model number pn60f5500 for free today. Owner said the standby light would flash. I had a feeling that it was all due to a bad ceramic cap(10uf 50v) on the ysus board. I was right again! It works perfectly. I have repaired other models that have 3 of them in parallel before, but this one only had one with holes unused for a second one.

by bogosortHello,
I have a MacBook Pro 15” A1398 2013 that has no backlight, but I see an image when putting light through the logo. I noticed that when the screen is plugged in, I get a 300 ohms short (see image).
When unplugged, the short is gone.
Any idea?1 Photo - Loading...
