Re: 49pus6162/12
you mean Second !!!
i want to say... when you changed the flip at Factory mode and checked it again the change was there after restart. mean the SPI chips had no error also no bad sector on it as it can read and write change.
SPI are command in chief ... the NAND ( Firmware ) the employee whom receive this command and act ( LOL seams i spend allot of time following US election )Comment

Re: 49pus6162/12
and the hard reset i mean not only to put back 005 of the panel code... you have option at SAM and maybe at Factory mode too to initial the eeprom and make hard reset.. this is important now.. as the SPI will sent command to the NNAD tell him delete any Temp and rewrite your self again. so if we have firmware issue on nand will solved.Comment

Re: 49pus6162/12
OK I have reset to 005 and in factory mode initialised eeprom but I have the same problem image inverted and mirrored. There is not an option in SAM mode to initialise eprom. I am now at a loss as to what to try next.Comment

Re: 49pus6162/12
if you are sure the main boards are original belong to the set... you can compare the info in SAM for-example the serial NO.
the OPT1 & OPT2 are different from what listed at service manual .. as there no option code at any label on the back cover of the tv.. it mean its standard option
try it as listed at service manual. always you can back to original as you wrote them out.
if this all didn't help go with yours idea you wrote before ----->
other wise need more deep inspect at LVDS / NANDComment

by eurgencaHello.
I am dealing with a Philips TV, 43pus7505 and is stuck on boot loop.
So I ordered a used CPU board, and now I have wired picture.
I think the problem lies in display option code. According to SM, the command for setting
display code is 062598 + MENU + 032 (032 is written on a label on back of a TV).
But as soon I press the menu button TV jumps in menu. Can someone please tell me what I am doing wrong,
or can I manually edit option code in SAM. -
by ohmmyIm trying to use a soundbar with it. Plugged in the optical cable on both ends but in settings of the TV the “sound select” option is greyed out and won't let me switch off “main” even if I turn off “TV Speaker” option. Anyone have an idea on why or what I need to do? Thanks...

by notallbadThis is a 2012 LG TV so aware full functionality of the smart functions/apps will be limited however currently unable to get the LG Smart Store.
Youtube, Netflix and LG Smart store icons briefly appear in the apps list but then automatically disappear after doing 'Initialisation of Premium' via the standard menu, I'm guessing this is due to the Country/Area group its set to is wrong for the UK.
Unable to change the country group, Area option can be changed which alters the country group but none make any difference. So believe its the country group that needs changing.... -
by alltvrepairsHi,
I need to change the main board for this set. I have a new identical board but for a smaller model 43PUS6704/12 FZ3A
The picture is not good and remote seems not to work either.
The Set Option on the rear of the TV says 042 as shown in pic.
The Service manual lists this model but with another screen with a mentioned Option Code of 109. I assume that I need to use the one on the back of the TV.
The problem I don't know how to tackle yet is the remote issue as not responding. Remote works on another Philips TV.
