  • Re: 49pus6162/12

OK I have reset to 005 and in factory mode initialised eeprom but I have the same problem image inverted and mirrored. There is not an option in SAM mode to initialise eprom. I am now at a loss as to what to try next.

HI Diah the flip was in factory settings only no flip available in SAM mode when I set flip to on nothing changes on screen immediately so I stored setting and the unplugged from mains and when turned on again no change. I then entered factory mode again and checked that flip was now turned on. I suspect the eprom is not taking the command so I have some chips on order. Am I correct in saying I can save settings to USB stick then reload to new chip and try flip settings again.

    Hi Diah
Thank you again but the only place these codes can be found is in Sam mode there are no labels with that info inside or on the back cover. Back cover has option 005 only are they hidden somewhere then.

    Hi Diah
Thank you for the reply I had already entered 062598 +Home button and 005 option code from the rear cover of TV but it makes no difference. This TV was working fine for customer and just went into this mode by itself no panels were replaced. When you say I can modify NVM thats fine but what do you enter into it. I have entered SAM and get the following codes
    Opt1 008,001,020,000,000,096,000,196
    Opt2 203,002,018,002,001,002,225,004.
Do you know if these are correct or do you know which code to change to return to correct ima...

    49pus6162/12

    Hi Guys
I have the above TV with mirrored image onscreen and I can't rectify it by usinf 3digit option codes and software is the latest available. I tried a factory reset also to no avail. I feel I need an NVM dump to sort this out but I can't locate one anywhere. I would be very grateful to anyone that could help with this please.

    Regards

  • Re: Schematic

Thanks Dick I had another look at ST 24c02 datasheet and that make has supply range of 3 to 5 volts so maybe barking up the wrong tree here. What put me off was I got a reading of five volts with original chip removed. Anyway I had copied the replacement chip and loaded onto new chip in original board but got no hdmi at all. With the replacement board the tv gives me hdmi on an android box but nothing on sky box. If I could get schematics I could be sure voltage was ok and rule that out. Its strange that replacement is not working properly also so that is my dilemma....

  • Re: Schematic

Thanks for your reply RJ the datasheet on 24c02 states that a minimum of 4.5 volts is needed for this chip to work and also when I removed the original short circuit chip I got a reading of 5 volts but when I tried a chip with a dump from a Samsung 50"it gave me 3.29 so I am assuming something on 5 volt supply has gone high resistance.

    Schematic

    Hi Guys,
I am in desperate need of a circuit diagram for Fujitsu Siemens plasma model P50XHA-40US main board part number 8118781040 its also used in the 42" version. I have low voltage to edid chip should be 5 volts but I only get 3.29 volts on pin 8 of 24co2. I fitted a used board and tv working on hdmi from an android box but no hdmi on Sky satelite box. The volts are still still low on replacement so fault is probably on another board but difficult to trace source of supply.

    Kind Regards
    Bill

  • Re: Eeprom dump thread!

    Hi Guys
I am new here and I am wondering if you have an edid eprom dump for Fujitsu P50XHA40US main board M04AY04 8118781040 please. Its for my own TV which my satelite box damaged the 24C02B IC304(short circuit).I hope this is posted in the correct section.
