LG 32LD750 bad chip or bad BGA?

I have a TV that I stated in the title.

The problem is really easy: when you turn on the TV, the picture is fine, but after a few minutes, it's full of bad, random colored pixels, horizontal lines and the picture is jumping/flickering..

There are 2 BGA chips (not counting the memory chips) on the board, one seems to be the main chip, while the other communicates between the screen with the main chip.
This later chip is called "XD LGE7378B-LF". It has a little heatsink on it.
When I freeze it with freezespray, the picture gets totally perfect, but after a while, it starts to flicker/jump around again.

I tried to put a heatsink with a fan on it, but it didn't help. I would try to reflow it, but I don't have a preheater, and I don't know if my hot air station would be enough.

What do you think, is it a bad chip? Maybe a bad solder joint?

would be good if you upload here focused photo on the Main boards and how the screen look with this noise-

freezing get better.. could be caps filter near by the chip are effected not the chip self.

always with LG we start to reset it with IN_STOP to avoid any wrong judgment of bad firmware.

Unfortunately I don't have any kind of remote for this TV. So I guess the IN STOP is not really possible without it.

I upload some pictures of the board, and a video of the problem.

      Video: link

On the pictures you can see the whole board, the chip area, and the back side of the board (chip area too).

I tested freezing the backside filter caps, but that didn't help.

IN_STOP can be send via android apk with mobile had IR sender.. or DIY wave. or Service remote for LG.. TV RC cant send this command.
if the LVDS are clean. doing reset IN_STOP a must before any HW inspection.

I downloaded your files, and built an IR blaster real fast. The IN_START works, however, the IN_STOP won't.

EDIT: also, i dont know if this is important.. but whenever I turn the TV on, the LG logo comes in. That logo is shown PERFECTLY and there are no glitches. However, as soon as the logo goes away, the problem starts.

Well, guys, I am really impatient so I simply took it apart, and reflowed the chip I was talking about.

              That didn't help anything.

I didn't wanna stop there, so I took it out again, and reflowed the other only BGA chip (which is the main processor).

After this, the TV got a lot faster, it's not choppy in the games anymore either. And guess what, the problem went away..

now the only question is: how long will it last?

Maybe try a fan solution to try to keep the bga from overheating.

Guide to transplant MEC1503 EC chip and EEPROM reprogamming for T14s gen 2 and X13 gen 2

This is a guide that I am writing for helping others to replace their MEC1503 EC chip if it breaks (or to get around an inconvenient prompt to the BIOS). This forum has been extremely helpful to me so I would like to contribute to help others. I will tell you right now that this task is very difficult to do. You MUST have experience and tools to do precision micro-soldering, BGA reballing, trace repair, and general laptop repair skills.

There are some specialty tools needed to do this task. The replacement MEC1503 chips can be acquired from Aliexpress. Do not buy the bare chips as...

ASRock B650M PRO RS - BIOS CHIP 25Q256JW BLOCKED BY STATUS REGISTERS
                  by DynaxSC
                  Hi

I have a very strange issue with the BIOS SPI chip of an ASRock B650M PRO RS motherboard.
The SPI chip is an Winbond 25Q256JWEQ model (1V8).
The motherbaord doas not POST - it lits only CPU and DRAM EZ Debug Leds, and stays that way forever.
The Flashback function of the motherbaord is also not working, despite all instructions followed correctly - I'm 100% sure of this.

I have then desoldered the chip, backupped the contents, and tried to earease the chip in order to program stock image, but the chip is locked by status registers SREG2 (TB) and SREG6...

Acer e15-e5-576g-5762 bricked. Bios chip won't interface in AsProgrammer.

Thanks for any help. The board version is DAZAARMB6E0 REV: E. The bios chip is winbond 25Q64JVSIQ1736. W25Q64JV is not available in AsProgrammer -- only BV CV FV or FW_1.8c. The chip won't interface with asProgrammer and a CH341A. When I have this chip on the board, the laptop will not post but when I plug it in to power, the blue LED lights up, also the orange when the battery is connected. When I push the power on button, keyboard backlight turns on and the fan starts briefely then turns off. But I can't do anything to program this bios chip so I bought another one.

                  The BIOS...

Lenovo laptop does not turn on, what does this number mean in a BIOS chip?

Hello, first of all, excuse me, I am using the translator, English is not my native language.

                  I have a Lenovo ideapad 330S - 14IKB laptop.

The tablet did not recognize me when I connected it, so I checked the device manager and I realized that there were many with the exclamation mark, so one by one I began to update their drivers until the sign disappeared of admiration, I even updated the BIOS, and the laptop rebooted normally and worked, so far so good, but the tablet still did not recognize me, I read on the internet that it could be due to a...

How can I be sure that my EC chip is dead?
                  by double_DD
                  Hi all,

As the title suggests, how can I be sure that my EC chip is really dead?

I've recently gotten into this hobby of laptop repairs, and have successfully brought back to life a couple with some easy fixes, mostly shorted caps.

Now I'm working on HP Probook 455 G8, that had some "devil" run around on 3V line, burning a bunch of stuff. Luckily I have a dead 455G7 (for spare parts) so I managed to fix it (swapped burned parts) to a point that it will charge (both on barrel jack and usb-c), but it doesn't want to turn on. There is a 3V3 on a keyboard...
