This set is 3 years old and will not turn on first time in the morning. I have to unplug it from the wall socket for about 30 seconds, plug it back in and will turn on. From there it will power up throughout the day. This is using the remote that came with the set. I have found that when it is not used for some time "overnight" is when the problem happens.
I did not unplug it for more than 30 seconds for fear of losing all of my personal settings.
There is a power block that is in between the 120v house current and a secondary lead that plugs into the back of the set (19.5 volts). When problem occurs, I did find that there is 19.5 volts out of the lead from power block.
Having had experience with repairing older style CRT sets does little good with these newer one's.
I believe that the problem is in the main, or power supply board related to capacitors.
Could someone guide me as to where to look to possibly repair the problem?
