The backlights flashing on power up is a symptom of bad backlights causing an under or overvaltage situation which is detected and triggering a shutdown. A LED tester can help you confirm.Comment

I recently got my hands on a 60" Panasonic P60ZT60 plasma tv (european model) that has some strange issues along with an 8 blink code.
It know this tv is getting old but it was once considered one of the best plasmas ever made, and i think it is still holds on to that even by todays standards.
So, long story short. When i first got the tv it had a very bright washed out picture with very raised blacks in all picture modes and i couldn't find the cause in the picture setting menus.

Does not turn on, lights 3 of the 4 LEDs and turns off and stays like this, presses the power and repeats.
I saw that the room LED lights up only when the screen is connected, so quiet.
We have all the power supplies, even processor, 1.8V
One thing I found strange, it has a very low resistance in the Vcore is giving 1 Ohm , work with notes and such, I know that this is normal in some processors but with this resistance only take video card so found it strange.
I suspect that there may be some leak in the processor.

Hello, i have some issues with my laptop Lenovo Y700-17ISK (motherboard BY511 NM-A541), it started when i turn on the laptop, but the lcd wont turn on, i then connected it via hdmi to tv and screen was ok. So i thought maybe lcd stripe is faulty, i removed the bottom cover, disconnected main battery, reset the cmos by disconnecting battery for 1 min, then slighty move the lcd stripe. Conncted power supply and tuned on my laptop, the lcd turn on, it started to load os, then it turn off, after a second it turn on, then after like 3 seconds turn off again, and so on. I have been trying since 2 days to get this working.
The Acer VN7-791 had the 30 Minutes shutdown issue.
Therefore I desoldered the BIOS, cleaned the ME Region (with the Win-Raid guide) and Flashed the Version again.
It seems to have solved the reboot issues.
But unfortunately now I cannot turn off the computer anymore. It just reboots when I do it via Windows 10 or the Power Button. Only thing working is hard Reset via long press of the Power Button.
I tried to install an older Version of Mangement Engine...
