any Luck here??, Got the same issue with my Epson EB-S18, when first plug in power button lights blue, when press the power, indicator "status" flashing forever and no boot, No fans spinning and the main board gets a bit hot from the same aria where the mentioned ic in the previews reply from Mr bermo96, and stays blinking with or without lamp.

The 3 IC are still getting even with the 3 LCD ribbon cables disconnected. And the LED status has the same behaviour.

I have notice that 3 IC's are getting really hot when the projector is powered on. They are labelled E06210POA but I can't find any info or datasheet.

Epson 5040UB Projector No Lamp Strike Stuck in Startup - Blinking Status/Lamp Lights
    by vestaviascott
Hoping someone here can put me on the right track. I'm trying to troubleshoot/flowchart the "internal projector error" on my newly acquired Facebook Marketplace bought Epson 5040UB projector (3LED, not DLP). Owner said it needed new lamp, actually error code blink pattern indicates "Internal Projector Error, call Epson support". Unit is out of warranty as of 8/19

    Here's what happens:

    1) Power on
    2) Blue power indicator lights and the lens cover motor opens the lens cover, light fan noise heard
    3) Blue status light flashes for appx 4 minutes...

    Epson EB-U42 projector / Caps with 0.7 ohms ?!
    by narf
    hi all,

first of all: i'm a (motivated) newbie, so please forgive me any stupid question i may or may not ask

i'm currently repairing a projector: Epson EB-U42 that doesn't start (no lights, nothing).

    what i've found so far:
    - the PSU does its job and supplies 12V to the mainboard via the connector.
    - shortly thereafter, there is a mosfet (TS420-600B) where i can test 12V on the one side (in the data sheet this side is called Anode), Gate 0V, Kathode shorted to ground
    - not far away, there's the first cap with a resistance of 0.7 ohms....
