Re: Epson VS250 Projector Lamp Not Working.
If the status light is flashing blue and lamp light is orange, this indicates that there is a problem with the projector lamp. Check if the lamp bulb is burned out, broken, or seated improperly

Re: Epson VS250 Projector Lamp Not Working.
thanks for the troubleshooting guide. The status light isn't flashing and the lamp light is just plain off. I opened the lamp and am not seeing any signs of burnt markings or it being broken. So i think it's safe to assume the Lamp proably just reached end of life.So i will get a replacement and see how it goes from there. Thanks a lot for the suggestions Pete.Comment

Hoping someone here can put me on the right track. I'm trying to troubleshoot/flowchart the "internal projector error" on my newly acquired Facebook Marketplace bought Epson 5040UB projector (3LED, not DLP). Owner said it needed new lamp, actually error code blink pattern indicates "Internal Projector Error, call Epson support". Unit is out of warranty as of 8/19
Here's what happens:
1) Power on
2) Blue power indicator lights and the lens cover motor opens the lens cover, light fan noise heard
3) Blue status light flashes for appx 4 minutes... -
by lafilipczykHello everyone, I just got my hands on a Sharp lc 80le632u TV that initially had the 1 short, 1 long blink sequence. That indicates a lamp error, however if I follow the isntructions to reset the error counter, the TV starts correctly: no missing LEDs everything lods just fine.
I went through the process to get to the diagnostic screen, and got this ( attached).
Since all LEDs are working correctly, and the TV seems to load fine after reset, that tells me that the power board and the LED strips are working correctly. Could this be a main board issue?

by narfhi all,
first of all: i'm a (motivated) newbie, so please forgive me any stupid question i may or may not ask
i'm currently repairing a projector: Epson EB-U42 that doesn't start (no lights, nothing).
what i've found so far:
- the PSU does its job and supplies 12V to the mainboard via the connector.
- shortly thereafter, there is a mosfet (TS420-600B) where i can test 12V on the one side (in the data sheet this side is called Anode), Gate 0V, Kathode shorted to ground
- not far away, there's the first cap with a resistance of 0.7 ohms.... -
