Hi guys
My tv had a vertical black line top left coming down to the middle of the screen been like this for around 6 months.
on Friday night whilst watching the TV it just switched off and started to blink the red LED 8 times.
Have done as much research as my limited knowledge has and I think it points to a address board or assembly.
Would it be correct to assume this is a buffer board ? and also would it be the buffer board mounted on the top left of the panel (where the dead pixel line is) to be the culprit ?
Is it possible to unplug them while tv powered off one by one to find which one is causing the power down etc
and finally would this be repairable or replaceable ?
any thoughts ideas much appreciated.
many thanks
