    Samsung UN60J620DAF

Thanks in advance for your help! I've searched and posted a ton over the last two months of troubleshooting, and I just joined here, I am hoping someone can help me solve this puzzle

I have a Samsung UN60J620DAF that did the classic progressive flashing the picture on and off while sound remained on until finally flashing picture all the way off never to return. I ordered and installed new, LVDS cable, TCON board, and Power Board in that order, re-trouble shooting along the way.

Got picture back once TCON was installed, but the picture began blinking rapidly, slightly lighter to slightly darker. New Power Board did not resolve the issue.

Turned off ECO mode, reset TV, turned off, turned back on, updated software, checked TV source, HDMI source, ran picture tests but it's blinking during the tests. I also tried the original LVDS with the new TCON but the results were the same. I tried different power outlets with different power strips.

I have also opened the TV up to the LED strip level and see that all the LED bulbs turn on normally. I do not clearly see any burned bulbs to be able to identify a problem.

I'm considering ordering a new set of LED strips but I am hesitant to order them with all the LEDs appearing to work normally, and not sure if this will resolve the issue. Any help and your shared experience is much appreciated!

Pictures attached of TCON, Power Board, Video Board, and back chasis / boards layout. That is the original video board, practically the only thing I have not replaced, that and the LEDs.

See if you can find the backlight NOT brightness setting, turn it down see if the flashing changes any if not turn it up see if anything changes.

If the mainboard is disconnected from the power supply do the backlights come on and if they do without flickering.
Willing to help but I'm no expert.

Thanks for your replies, yes the backlights come on without flickering when disconnected from the power supply. Backlight adjusting did not resolve.

An update: Somehow, during the reassembly, one of the driver tabs got burned in the center of the ribbon, and is now displaying a bar of vertical lines in the screen in relation to its placement on the driver board. Is there a repair for this ribbon? There is a visible burn mark. It is also hot to touch when the tv is powered on, I learned this inspecting it, thinking it could have been moved improperly and was causing the vertical lines.

        Thanks again.

Sorry, a damaged Tab cannot be repaired, the original fault was the screen matrix and this was obvious, so you can sell all of your boards as good. Bye..

I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

                Assuming...

Hi, this is my personal laptop, which the original board (lets call it Board A) blew up PU8700 (TPS51486), making a hole on the board, i had left the laptop at my desk one day with the battery fully charged and didn't touch it for a week, but when i tried to turn it on it didn't
Thought the battery was dead, so i plugged in the charger then tried to power on, the power LED blinked once, charged LED still orange, unplugged the charger, plugged in again and I noticed the "magic smoke" smell, so i unplugged the charger, removed the back cover and saw the blown IC (the "magic...

Upgrading a Samsung ue55nu7096u with logic board from an ue55ru7105k -- good idea?
                by ohren
I hope this is the right forum to post in despite not technically being a repair, but still a question of swapping boards.

I thought I'd explore the possibility to upgrade an existing working Samsung ue55nu7096u with the logic board (and power board if needed) of a newer model (ue55ru7105k) of the same size and appearance (and resolution). The reason being I'd like the extra inputs of that board including component in, an extra HDMI port and bluetooth. Its panel is broken so I have no use for the board otherwise.

The models launched in 2018 and 2019 respectively....

Samsung UN55H8000AF - No Picture, Working Backlight, Replaced T-Con Board
                by ermals
                Hi all!
I've recently run into an issue with my Samsung UN55H8000AF LED TV displaying no image. I've done quite a bit of research in terms of what could be wrong with it. Below are the steps I've taken prior to reaching out here for some assistance:

                1. I've tried replacing the T-Con board (BN95-01594A), twice and have still experienced the same issue with all the boards I've tested with.
                2. I've tried to remove one side of the ribbon cable that goes from the T-Con board to the panel and still not getting any image on left or right side.
                3. I've checked voltages...
