    Help with Logik42" L423ED11

I have requested eeprom bios as i believe it is my issue and i have a programmer ive never used before.. But before i get to flashing i have a few questions so will post my tv issue and see if i should proceed..

Tv was spare in games room so gifted it to my son its barely used and wqaa working perfect 4 months ago.

When i tried to turn it on it goes from red to green but no sound or picture not even backlight.. I striped it down and its so clean inside i was shocked no dust lol. When i checked all caps there perfect and all seem ok visibly ive changed many caps on tv and monitor but that is as far as ive been with tv repairs..

Does it sound like im heading the correct route with eeprom ? Also can you flash and read in board or does it need desoldering ? obviously if thats my issue lol

Eeprom is typically suspect if the tv does not turn on at all. If the tv turns on and off with no backlight or if they flash, then the backlights are suspect.

          Re: Help with Logik42" L423ED11

Looking at your model number of your TV being a Logik L423ED11 they are quite rare. So in my opinion you would be very lucky to get hold of the flash ic data for it. However as nomoresonys has stated the first route would be to establish whether one or more of the LED's have failed.
If your remote control can turn the TV on and off then generally I would say your main board is working. You may ask why do I not get sound? If your input selection isn't the aerial and you have nothing else connected to it then you will not get audio (assuming of course that the aerial has been tuned in recently to your location). The only way to really prove it is to connect a audio source to a fully wired scart cable like a dvd player.
          Important follow this order carefully
          1. Turn the TV onto standby.
          2. Connect a dvd player to the TV with a scart cable (you may ask why a scart cable? well a scart cable has a pin in it that automatically switches it over to the scart input when activated without any remote control interaction). Play the media you have selected on the DVD player ensuring it has audio output from it.
          3. Now try turning the TV on with the remote control or from the front panel buttons. With the remote control try turning the volume up and down.
          4. If you hear audio and you can adjust volume I would safely say you have no issues with the main board and the flash ic.
Your issue would be with your LEDs or led driver board or PSU.
So I would suggest you follow logically the fault process as getting hold of LED's will be far easier than getting the flash data for the eeprom! Which personally speaking I don't think you would be able to get hold of!

              93C46 and 93C56 EEPROM
              by SidneyCanadas
I tore apart my instrument cluster for my 2008 Toyota Corolla made in 2007 in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada and pcb location: IC6=EEPROM is a surface mounted device with part # of 93C46W7, some claim the EEPROM out of a Camry part # 93C56 will allow odometer to roll over 299 999 KM or miles. The data sheet for both is below:

              https://cdn.badcaps-static.com/pdfs/...c6e42b20d3.pdf 2

Anyone know if the Camry one will work on my Corolla?. And which EEPROM reader/writers do you all recommend I purchase that will allow me to read the old values of the old...

MacBook Air A2337 (820-02016) USB-C Port Issue – Only Works in One Orientation (CC Line Problem?)
              by rounin
              Hi everyone,

I'm working on a MacBook Air 2020 (A2337, board 820-02016) and running into a strange USB-C issue. I've gone through quite a bit of testing and part replacement, but I'm stuck — hoping someone here can shed some light.

              🛠 Original Issue
              The machine initially wouldn't negotiate 20V over USB-C — stuck at 5V.
Diagnosis showed PP1V5_UPC0_LDO_CORE shorted to ground.

I replaced U3100 (UF400) using a donor board (A2179), and the machine powers on fine now.

Three 820-01700 32GB Logic Boards Same Issue: Won't Wake From Hibernate
              by ugamazing
I have three identical-spec 820-01700 boards (2.6/32/512), and ALL THREE boards came to us with the same fault, from different sources: The boards don't wake from hibernation with the keyboard or lid, they ONLY wake when you press the power button. I understand this is a very minor issue, but the boards must be fixed!

We will of course begin with the obvious (checking lid signals), but I couldn't help but notice these three boards were all 32GB variants. Has anyone noticed an issue relating to these 32GB boards in particular? I of course don't think it's a RAM issue, but it's bizarre...

              Good day Experts
              I have a lenovo Legion pro 5 16ACH6H with AMD RYZEN 7 5800H and RTX3070,.

A weird issue has troubled me. If i power on off the laptop 20 times then only power LED will lit but no fan spin no display. At this stage gpu, vram. DDR voltage. 5v 3.3v 1.8v and the rest are present and cpu core is stuck at 0.84v.

And sometimes lets say the 21st time it will boot perfectly and there is image and everything is working perfectly and at this stage i see cpu core...
