    Sharp LC-55P6000U firmware

My Sharp TV was turn on, but it was stuck in the Sharp logo forever and I cannot turn it off anymore. I think the TV has problem with firmware. I tried to find the firmware online, but I could not find it from Sharp TV website. My TV model is Sharp LC-55P6000U.
Does anyone have this or know another source for it? Thank you very much!

While you are correct that often with sharp sets we see software issues, and that symptom can be caused by software, we have also seen many different times main boards have a BGA issue causing the stuck on logo screen.
I would suggest trying to heat up the main processor BGA chip with hot air to see if that helps you load past the logo issue you are seeing.

Thanks Nick! I did try that but the TV is still not working! I think I have to buy a different main board!

I think it needs a firmware update, maybe send them an email, tell them it's only 2 years old and you don't know why they would not have the firmware available for download like every other brand does (a lot of them take the firmware off their site very early or never put it on tho), tell them if you can't get a simple firmware update then why would you buy Sharp products in the future, they may hook you up with the firmware, worth a shot. Remember the person you talk to is not the idiot who decided not to have the firmware available.

I did email them three times using different emails. Then, I called them. They said they do not have any firmwares for this TV, and tell me to pay money for the technician come to fix!

Not good, I like sharp but if they can't supply simple firmware, I won't be buying anything from them anymore, have one from 2007 bought new, never a problem, just a shame they act that way.

                Macbook A1990 stuck on logo
                by mr.Data
                Hello,

This Macbook Pro 2018 boots up and then gets stuck on the logo.
All the normal methods of resetting this Macbook have been tried but do not work.
I cannot get into recovery mode and there is no bar displaying, it's just the white logo on a black background.

Any help would be greatly appriciated....

Macbook Air 2015 Booting Very Slow and Stuck on apple Logo 99%
                by platinumsteel
Hi guys i have my personal MacBook Pro 2015 820-00165 board that was working fine for more than a year and one day stopped working on my original Magsafe charger. It was turning on with my bench power supply. Opened it up and while diagnosing that somehow i ended up with a shorted smc.The line which was shorted was SMC_PM_G2_EN. I removed the SMC and short was gone. So all I had was another working donor board 820-3435 which i used to program it's SMC to 820-00165 using the SMCTOOL By MuertoGB.Took that SMC and use it on my 820-00165 board .And my board started working again. PPBUS_G3H 8.56V....

Brother J2730-DW stuck on Brother Logo
                by Raymond red (mon)
hello, I have this Brother J2730-DW printer that was brought to me by a friend, it was supposed to be converted to continues ink but the printer wouldn't turn on completely. The printer powers on and plays a tune but it gets stuck in the brother logo. Upon checking, the printer was infested by many small cockroaches. I do checked the board cleaned and tested some corroded capacitors but all seems to be fine, I couldn't find any short circuit or any missing component on the board. Also checked the power supply and it was working fine.
                please help.

MacBook Air A2179 stuck on Apple Logo
                by mferna14
Hi all, working on a MacBook Air A2179 EMC 3302 stuck on Apple Logo. Came in dead. There was spillage on both of the USB-C Charge port connector. I replaced the cap 4.7UF 25V near the speaker connector as it was corroded. Replaced USB-C connector with a new one & now I get display. The problem is that gets stuck on the Apple logo & sometimes it even boots up into OS after a very long time & the CPU fan spins fast. Kindly any repair tips will be appreciated. Do these logic board have BIOS, so that I could do a clean up or load a new dump. Thanks in advance.
