This TV came with a defective LED, I fixed it, now is working but has a high frequency noise. When I touch a transformer leg (the yellow one on the right) the sound decreases.

Have exact same tv with 3 bad LEDs. how did you fix edge LED strip ? replace LED or whole strip ? need part number of LED (5.7 volt).
edge LED strip part # is LJ64-03374A - can't find them anywhere.

I saw that earlier - but there out of stock. anyway of finding the actual LED part # 5.7 volt LED ? I can solder flow new ones on the strip.Comment

There are no part numbers for the individual LEDs. There are plenty of strips in China though, my search engine is full of vendors However not everything is being shipped currently due to Coronavirus.
LEDs are identified by their size, colour temperature measured in Kelvin, voltage and current. Plenty of options to choose from on Aliexpress but again, Chinese shipping issues.Comment

One thing to realize on this set is if the LEDS are bad - the set can act funny on startup and while running. This set would turn on, no video, and then after some time freeze up (video), then comeback on, and cycle several times until red indicator light comes on and blinks 6 times. Set would act as if shutting down and then rebooting.Comment

I'm trying to help my friend who owns a restaurant be just bought.
He has a very long LED strip running along all the walls and columns. The strip is attached facing down 2in above the floor, using a wall panel that ends in a metal rail that finishes the panel underneath
It's stuck using, I guess, the 2 sided tape that comes with the strip
The issue is that like 1/2 of the full length, including 1/2 one wall, another entire wall, and one column, flickers after 4 or 5 minutes ON. Particularly it flashes staying OFF most of the time and flashing ON for 1 tenth... -

Hi, I am installing a long led strip and I noticed that it frequently flickers slightly, it is not a strong nor regular thing, but it is noticeable and annoying. I have measured the voltage of the mains and it shows some fluctuations, it normally stays at around 226v, but often (every few seconds) drops down to 218/219v), and the flickering happens exactly at the same time. I have measured this at the counter and with every appliance off, so it's not related to the house electrical system, but that's how it comes from the supplier.
I know that the best solution would be to get a voltage... -
Does anyone have the procedure for replacing the LED strips on a Sony XBR-55X850D? It's a sidelit TV so hopefully doesn't require complete panel removal and all that, but its a Sony so who knows.
I cant find much info on any one having done it before and would love to take a look at what im in for before i decide to take on the job.
