I don't have this off the wall yet but it my mothers tv. We have tried different cables and receiver, so it has to be the tv. Could it be speakers or probably main board. Where do I start? Voltages? Thanks

Re: Samsung UN55D6000SF Distorted Sound
Try unpluging the tv for 10~15 min. and see if that helps, if not check the firmware version, I see there is a firmware update for the 6000 series, (2.1.0.12031_10). If that does'nt help you might try the service menu route and try a factory reset.Comment

Re: Samsung UN55D6000SF Distorted Sound
Well my mother went ahead and bought a new one so since my bedroom tv quit it went straight on my wall. I am running it through my receiver so wasn’t worried about the sound but I have noticed some screen lagging. Not sure if that’s the right term So I am guessing when that happens that’s when the sound messes up which she probably didn’t notice. It’s still on the wall so I haven’t done any testing at all, but I was just thinking I would order a main board for it. If you had to throw a board at it would that be your choice?Comment

by LEECH666Good day ladies and gentleman!
I am currently trying to repair a Grundig Vision 9 37 9880 T USB LCD TV for a friend that has a weird audio problem. Basically everything works fine except for the heavily distorted sound when the Subwoofer module is connected and there is a buzzing sound coming from the PSU PCB.
This seems to be a rather rare TV so there is not much prior on topic help to be found however a service manual is available at the usual sources (Electro Tanya i.e.).
I think the PSU buzzing comes from one of the coils near the bridge rectifier but... -

by maleksaMy Yamaha MOX8 synthesizer recently developed two issues.
Firstly, after booting up, it operates as normal. However, after about 5 minutes, the sound starts to get distorted (broken up screeching sound) almost like putting it through a guitar distortion pedal. After a while, the distorted sounds will go away for a while and comes back. At times, the synthesizer will also freeze I need to power off and on again.
Secondly, when powering off and on again, there will be times where the synthesizer will freeze during the boot sequence (freezes at the MOX8 Opening Screen),...-

by jchangHi all
I was just given a Samsung TV with the issue. I read various threads and videos and attempted the ribbon tape method to gain an image, but no luck.
Symptom:
No picture no sound.
When I plug in the power cord, Backlight LED turns on for a half second and then turns off. The red LED next to the power button located center bottom flashes 2 or 3 times. When the power button is pressed after, it does the same thing.
No sound at all.
What I tried:
1. I tried unplugging the left or right ribbon... -
by IerwinHello everyone,
Ive got a UE60KU6079 on the workbench that is giving me some headaches trying to troubleshoot.
The previous owner stated that there had been white dots on the screen which from the description sounded like some lenses fell of the backlight LEDs.
He had opened the TV from the back, trying to get to the backlight, supposedly gave up, reassebled everything and gave the TV to me.
I expected the worst like ripped COF cables or a cracked panel but could not find anything like that yet.
Anyway I still fully expect that there has been something seriously damaged... - Loading...
