Picked this one up today.
No signs of life whatsoever. No red led light from the IR module.
Disconnected the mainboard to see if PSU was working and it was (LED backlights lit up).
Checked the power button for continuity when buttons were pressed and I got readings.
Disconnected various components (speaker, wifi module) with no difference.
Checked mainboard's fuses (found 3) and they were all good.
I looked on shopjimmy to see what components I may have been missing and I saw that they were selling EEPROMs.
Then it dawned... -

Recently I've noticed that some ShopJimmy backlight strips don't have double-sided tape installed upon them when an application calls for it, and I must purchase the tape separately. In a recent chat conversation with a customer service agent I told them if this tape wasn't applied when it was called for I would begin to consider ordering my backlight strips elsewhere. It looks like this time may have come.

Last summer I replaced the LED Strips in a Vizio E60-E3 4K TV and gave it to my parents. I bought the strips from ShopJimmy's Amazon store.
Over the last couple months they started to have LEDs go out on it... until the other day where enough burnt out to make the TV unusable.
Before we blow another $60 and I go to to the trouble of the repair again, is there a more reputable source for LED strips? Or did I just get a bad batch that just made it out of the warranty period? -

I was hoping you could help me identify my issue with my TV, or point me in the direction of useful information. From my original research I thought it was the power board, so I bought one from ShopJimmy, but after I installed it the problem persists. I've looked around at a lot of proposed fixes and it's not clear what the right one might be.
I have an LG 55UL6200. On 3/14/2023 it stopped turning on. The red indicator light comes on when the power button is pressed. On subsequent presses, the screen barely goes on for a few milliseconds, and the red light... -
