I am going to check that !

in thought just measure 18v and if it was the specified voltage @ 1 terminal In de connector.

the rest would be good also

Hello , In the first place I have to thank all the people for sharing their knowledge on the subject.

I have the same problem as the OP.

I did the the voltage check by doing the Resistors trick
    I used 470 ohm resistors from standby 3.3 to POWER_ON and RLY_ON

I put the 2 resistors on the single standby connector

than I measured n CN6202 18v to ground and that works.

Can someone tell me how to proceed ?

Thanks for the follow-up, too bad the thread got this long due to wasted time on the power supply board, especially the IC6100.

You need another resistor for the RLY_ON (Relay On), pin 5 (CN6200) to pin 4 (CN6202) with another 470 Ohm resistor.
Yes, you will be taking the Voltage measurement of the power supply connector since there will be no connection to the main board, we are doing the test to find out if the power supply board is OK or not.

Hi Budm, I have ordered a replacement Mainboard. Although I can try out these measurements over the weekend, can I take the measurements direct from the CN6200 pins 1, 2, 7, 8, 11, 13, 14 or locate the points you have highlighted on the Schematics? I've attached a pic to illustrate my connections between CN6202 pin 2 and CN6200 pin 5.

    Thanks for your help Budm

Ok, I see 2 type boards on there, make sure you match the panel # LTY400HS-LH3 and you should be alright.

F and G may be some kind of Country code, not sure, F may be the correct one for your Country.

Seems like its the main board will get one ordered and see how things go. Thanks for your input nomoresonys.
Do all part numbers of this need to match up or is it the Panel number that would determine this, I see 2 types of panel for this Model LTY400 and LTZ400.

Sony KD-65A1 Repair – 4 Red Blinks Error
    by AK_777
    Hi everyone!
I have a Sony KD-65A1 TV with a fault – 4 red LED blinks. After disassembly and visual inspection, I found that the G76 power board and DKA board had been replaced. It is also possible that TCON was replaced, but I am not sure – there are a few marker marks that could be factory-made.

Based on assumptions, the previous service attempted to solve the issue by replacing potentially faulty components. I decided to investigate further, found a service manual, and figured out a way to power up the power supply unit autonomously and put the OLED panel and...

    Sony A1e 5-blinks help
    by jchon
Hi I'm new to trying to repair TVs, but I saw a broken OLED offered for a reasonable price and thought I'd try my hand at it.

I found the service manual, which was critical to know where to probe.
    https://www.manualslib.com/manual/20...1e-Series.html

With it I was able to determine that my DKA board was bad, when P_ON#1/2 gets enabled REG_12 on the DKA board collapses. I'm assuming one of the downstream regulators has a short, but I couldn't work out which rail/component and replaced the DKA board entirely.

    Unfortunately the 5-blinks...

    Sony XBR-65X850D 2 Red Blinks
    by Nicktronic
    Hi all,

I have the subject TV and it will work normally sometimes but suddenly go black and give the 2 red blinks blink code. When this happens, I check the power supply board voltages and all I have is the Standby 3.3V and BL_ERR 2.2V. When it's working normally, all power supply board voltages look normal and stable. I've checked the backlights with a tester and they all test good. I've also read that the 2 red blinks is a faulty power supply board, so could it be throwing up an erroneous BL_ERR?

Any Sony experts out there that can help??...

Sony 75X9400E TV.. 5 Red blinks
    by dumbdd
I was using this TV for 5 years before it stopped working. I like this TV and would love to fix it myself.*

When I press the power button, the white led comes on (sony calls the module smart core) and then it switches over to 5 red blinks. No screen, no backlight, no relay click, nothing. I have disassembled the tv and found the service manual for 75x940e online. The manual suggests a faulty power board, TCON or the panel.**

The standby pin is at 3.3V. Fuses on the mainboard and TCON are fine. Caps on TCON also seem to be fine. When I turn on the tv the white led...

    Sony XR-55X90J 4 blinks
    by Nicktronic
Hey guys, got this Sony that turns on momentarily and then goes black with 4 blinks of the standby light. I can't find a service manual, but best guess was the Local Dimming board based on a similar TV saying LD_ERR or BCM_ERR. I found a replacement, but it didn't work. Before I put more money into replacement boards, Im wondering if anybody has seen this issue and what worked for them, or has the service manual for this specific TV.

    Thanks!...
