    LG 60PM6700 Plasma turns off after 20 min

    I'm stuck. Perfect picture, perfect sound for 20 min, then shuts itself off. Does this even with YSUS, ZSUS, and logic board disconnected from power supply. IOW, just power supply and main board with main board only connected to XR and buttons. Even with speakers and wifi module unhooked.

    I have replaced power supply board and main board, still shuts off after 20 min. If YSUS is connected to power, one of the chips under the small black metal heat sink gets very hot right before it turns itself off.

    If logic board is connected to main board, green LED flashes long-short long-short, but then changes to long-short long-long just before shutoff.

    Very frustrating, since picture and sound are perfect. Any ideas? Thanks!

              I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

              Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

              I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

              The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

              With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

              All left and right refers to looking from rear of TV (or looking from front with TV upside down)
              • TV came with vertical bars and no image. Found faulty TVS on left buffer board. Also replaced T-Con (may have damaged the original while hot air removing components, board has slight warp) and have full image but few horizontal lines on the screen. Some of the lines appears to be 2 pixel tall while others are 1 pixel tall.
              • Disconnecting left and right buffer board potentially reveals problems on both sides with different signals (unless this T-Con require jumper like Samsung FB_TRDY1&3) Fault

              Hi,
              I have this almost brand new Plasma was well stored. I would like to repair it for a friend of mine.

              I have noticed that it works for few seconds then switches Off the Power_ On signal. Have disconnected boards and left maion board and power supply and still the same. The power supply with PS_ON and VA signals On stays on so it is not a problem in the power supply.
              Any one met this problem in the past?...
