    Reset procedure to try:
    Unplug the television.
Press and hold the "Channel Down" and "Input" buttons on the panel.
Plug the television back in while holding down these buttons. ...
Keep holding the buttons until the television powers back on. ...

It's possible the replacement mainboard is bad, did you get it from ebay?

Some tvs can be updated without display, not sure about this exact model.

I tried to get into service mode and erase error mode but neither give any display on screen. I will try the update tomorrow and see if anything happens. Thanks

Yes it came from EBay and could possibly be bad, just find it strange it has exact same symptoms of original board.

Could be strange yes or could be a weakness where they fail with same symptoms.

Well after trying another set of boards with the same result. If it had problem with the edge board it shouldn’t do the white and black screen test or not necessary? I already had a kit to rebuild the power supply even though from what I can tell all voltages were good. I guess I will go ahead and go through supply. This one has really giving me heartache. Ugh....

Well it just keeps getting worse, rebuilt the power supply today and it fried a resister as soon as I plugged in.

Do you have a spare powerboard you can use or just that one?

Well after trying to rebuild power board twice to just see if it was missing some voltage and it dying both times. I ordered an eBay power board and for the first time got a menu but still have red line on one side of screen. Any ideas now, I did try unhooking ribbon cables and rebooking with no luck. Help please, I have so much money in boards on this thing now it has to work.....

I would like to call your attention to this thread I started on an LC-60LE600U. Your TV is similar.

                            https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showth...ht=lc-60le600u

Quick background on this thread: I had an LC-60LE600U with bad backlights and an LC-60LE640U fully working but with a broken LCD flap. I attempted to swap the 600's LCD flap in to the 640. The panels were incompatible.

The picture you posted of your TV is remarkably similar in appearance to mine after swapping the 600's panel in to the 640. The key thing I see are four even divisions of your screen right above each of the source driver boards. Eventually my screen got vertical lines on it (shown in the pic on my thread) and was way worse than yours in appearance. I thought I country-fried the display.

Upon installing the main and T-CON boards from the 600 in to the 640 the picture straightened right out and the TV worked great.

Based on this, I'm wondering if someone before you either swapped the wrong LCD flap or the wrong boards in to it and one isn't compatible with the other(s)?

Repair of an LG split AC system indoor unit PCB
                              by ngml
I am trying to repair an LG split AC indoor unit, which does not start and gives a CH05 error code.
This indicates an error in the communication between the outdoor and the indoor unit.
The outdoor unit is fine, so the problem is the indoor PCB.
The indoor unit is an LG PC09SQ NSJ (3SNM09JA2FA), and the PCB has the following type number: EAX35907219-1.2 (see photo1)
I changed optocouplers ICO1X & ICO2X and the NPN transistor S9013 which drives optocoupler ICO2X (see photo2), but this did not remedy the fault.

Does anybody have the schematics of this board,...

Sharp RDENCA369WJQZ (Delta DPS-343AP A, Rev 01F) Power Supply Unit Schematic Needed
                              by petersor
                              Hi Folks,

I'm filling some downtime trying to resurrect a Sharp LC60E88UN. It was easy to find the service manual online, but it doesn't contain the schematic for the power board (Sharp RDENCA369WJQZ / Delta DPS-343AP A, Rev 01F) Power Supply Unit. I've looked everywhere I can think of using both part numbers and can't find it. Can someonee with access to this document share it?

Symptoms - no audio/video/backlight and blink code: 1 x power light followed by 1 x power and OPC lights together. Seems like a Lamp Error, but I'd like to check power supply components and...

Bose Companion 5 - Unit Powers On then Cuts Off Shortly After
                              by nobbnobb1
                              Hi guys,

Trying to salvage a Bose Companion 5 computer speaker system that powers off shortly after powering on. It's got a primary USB input (built in DAC) and an aux 3.5mm input. The USB appears to be the primarily source that tells the unit to power on (control pod LED goes green) as the unit has no power switch.

When I first connect power to the unit, plug in the USB, it will play audio nicely for a minute before it drops out and the unit appears to go into standby (control pod LED goes red). It stays in standby and I cannot seem to power it back on without physically...

                              by advant
This thread is about trying to get an Universal Main Board to work with a Sharp TCON and panel.

I have a Sharp LC-46D85UN TV that has had a main board issue. Since this model is from 2009, I am not able to find an exact replacement of the main board. Instead, I decided to see if I can future proof this tv by getting a Universal Main Board (T53U21.2) from China to work with the Sharp TCON (CPWBX4291TPZA) and panel. The universal main board supports a 8 bit dual channel LVDS interface whereas the TCON requires a 10 bit dual channel LVDS input. I have modded the LVDS connector to match...

                              by sefoster
I have a Sharp Aquos LC-80LE757U that randomly made a loud popping noise when when watching TV one day. We found that the fuse blew and the thermistor. We ended up replacing the entire power supply board and have also replaced the TCON board. Now as soon as I plug the TV in it lights up and has the Sharp logo flashing on and off of the screen. If I unplug the ribbon cable from the TCON board to the main board I get the 2 long 5 short error code. Any ideas on where to go from here? We've tried resetting it but nothing has worked. If we plug it in and let it cycle through the flashing of the Sharp...
