Samsung UE55KS9000 Picture Jumping / Cycling

    Hey guys

Bit of a last ditch attempt this, but figure it's worth the question.

Picture is jumping on the tv. As per video :

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j4ZFHuxx3vw

Then leave it going for a while and it starts to cycle :

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vhq2-czrEI0

    Replaced the main board.
    Replaced the power board.
Replaced the ribbon cables to the tv.

No change, so I think this pretty much confirms it's the Panel (unless I've been very unlucky in picking up new boards with the same problem)

    Any other suggestions ?

    (bin it, I know ...)

    Thanks!

Don't see any tcons for sale, guessing it's integrated and not replaceable.

Could try a system reset and a firmware update if available.

I bet you it is Chip-on-film (COF) one of the IC chip on PI film has problem or tcon-on-screen.... one of the synchronization signal has intermittent problem.

I think you can use the freeze spray to locate the problem.

Samsung TV model UE50TU: rebooting, backlight, sound, but no picture
                by TR103
                Hi, I have a Samsung UE50TU with:
                - sound and backlight, but no picture
                - when it arrived, it had a picture for a few seconds
                - it keeps rebooting
                - without ribbon cable between the two panel boards, it does not reboot but I have no picture
                - without cable between mainboard and lcd panel, it does not reboot (but obviously i have no picture)
                - when i try a tape fix, its keeps rebooting, unless I tape off pin 1 (the innermost pin). In that case it does not reboot but I have no picture.

                - without cable between mainboard and lcd panel and with a jumpered...

SAMSUNG UN55KS9000F picture fades then distorts into vertical lines after 20 seconds
                by JJAAMM
This was my main TV for the last 6 years. I'm not inclined to throw out a $2600 TV so quickly so I'm trying to investigate the issue.

                Problem
TV was disconnected from power for 6 months during construction. When I plugged it yesterday picture was fine, after 30 seconds it dimmed then started developing horizontal lines, picture then starts to ghost vertically until it degrades into vertical streaks. TV always displays a perfect picture when cold. I can unplug TV for 5 minutes and plug it back in and picture is restored for 20 seconds. I can also keep it in standby mode...

Hello everybody, I could use some help on this one... It's got me guessing...
I took pictures of all the boards and the pin out of the connector on the power supply that goes to the main board... I measured all the pins in relation to chassis ground, here are the result.

                Hello all,

This is my first post, but long term lurker on the form learning as much as possible about these TV's. I was given this TV as due to a power outage of constant On/off of power to TV. The TV originally would just click on and off (Typical Reboot Cycle). I opened the back of the TV, and troubleshooted by taking the 96 pin LVDS off one at a time to see if I had a picture on either side. I finally fixed the reboot cycle by finding the error on the left side of the screen off connector CN 1301, and the TV would stay on. Further troubleshooting led me to the driver boards where...
