    Help with lg 60pb660v

    hi, got a issue with a lg tv i have been given, i have no 18v on the y sus board or z sus board, the issue is the same as in this thread

    but there is no remedy for the fix please could someone poss point me in the right direction if poss, or to a circuit schematic i normally fix consoles and phones not tvs, Thanks in advance

      hello.

      I have Sega Saturn and 5 years ago, I recapped all of capacitor in the Power supply, Because At that time, It frequently freezed black screen after SEGA logo displayed.

      It hardly ever freezed after I finished to recap all of caps in the power supply.

      But Yesterday, It did not show any screen at all and its green power LED constantly blinked.

      To my surprise I found that all of two NXH 10v 2200uf capacitors in the secondary area of Power supply have been bulged and It measured 57 mF and 75 mF capacitance.

      It seems that quality...

      Hello all,

      I'm working on the OpenBoardData.org database site and I'm looking to add gaming consoles to the list but I need to get my hands on boardviews & schematics to help with the process. Currently I've located Xbox One and 360 gear but basically nothing else for any other popular devices.

      I was thinking PlayStations, Nintendo units... other things that anyone knows of?

      The OpenBoardData.org site lets people contribute known-good values for test points/networks on boards, as well as now the ability to add component values to the boardviews...

      RIFA Class Y Capacitor remedy

      Hi all!
      I have a piece of gear with a Power-one SPL130 power supply in it. On the primary side, there is a very tiny (about the size of your thumb nail) RIFA Class Y capacitor, 2.2 nF. I'm not too sure about the condition (whether or not it's cracking) but I do know that it's there.

      I'm aggregating information as to how I should remedy this. It hasn't exploded yet, but that's what I'm trying to avoid.

      I've never seen a RIFA class Y safety cap self destruct (or at least it hasn't been documented in the past). However, it's not worth the risk to leave it in there....

      Hi

      My mate finally decided to change an ic on my 60pb660v ysus board. Unfortunately one of the pads in the process has been removed .

      I was wondering can anyone tell me where on the attached photo the ic highlighted in the yellow boxes- leg numbered three connects to even the solder below the pad has been removed?

      connected to the mains red led on - press remote for set to come on led goes out
      on the power board con that goes to Zsus
      VS= 210 volts
      VA = 56 volts
      M5V = 5 volts

      On Zusu board con p132 18 volts is only 4 volts removing the lead to ysus makes no difference

      Is my zusu faulty
