ok the original bin had corrupted section as i see here so it wouldnt go out from standby

with hex editor the section from 00000100 to 000001D0 change thm all to 00

save and flash it on shopjimmy chips or yours original chip too

here for you the original bin after repair .. you can compare it with yours shopjimmy and you will find they start as same address

I've downloaded a different Haier .bin from here: https://www.kazmielecom.com/2018/10/...-download.html
and compared that to your non working bin. It has EXACT the same lines on top that Diah took out. So these lines in the beginning isn't crash gibberish and shouldn't do anything much to help the TV start.
I still like you to try it out though!

i am here to help and use my know how to share my ways at repair or trouble shooting .. i wont like to show other who are the best. this wasn't and never being my way always as i believe i still don't know many things and learn from here. but if some things listed here at posts wrong . i cant keep silent..

back to the points ( CapLeaker ) with respect on what you did and downloaded and compared...

why you took this hard search job to find other firmware and compared and the owner of this post did uploaded 2 bin one starting and one keep on sty. i would like to know even you to show us one bin file you did downloaded from the link you provided.. easy --- or

I've got curious on how much different a bin file from an older version, same brand TV would look like. I had the same idea a while back and compared my Samsung monitors. Same kind of idea, an F series compared to a B series. What I found out was there was a lot of similarity, specially in the beginning of the bin file. So I did kinda the same here and again same beginning. I don't know what this data in the beginning goes, but seeing that, it is too much of a coincident to have the exact lines in the beginning in order to be crash gibberish.
Right now I am curious what happens if he pastes those lines into the SJ file and look for a difference running that on the TV. If I'd had one here to test things, I'd do it myself.
We all want to learn something here and like the original poster of this thread I'd like to know how to determent if that is crash gibberish or not.

this bin file used with cFeon Q32B-104HIP SPI Flash, its easy firmware which Chinese used not only simple TV but also with LCD Chinese projector over all brands.

this SPI connect to the CPU /GPU Soc unit with pin No 5. this wasn't the case on this post TV. you can decoded the hex and can read it in absolute value.

So just to be clear, there may be another issue in play here.... I did flash Diah's mod version to the shopjimmy chip still on the mainboard. Same exact result: stuck in standby. So at this point, I decided I should try to recover back to Andy Warhol baseline working version. So I reflashed my backup of the shopjimmy code that was partially working back to shopjimmy chip. Same result, now it is also stuck in standby! I am thinking the act of flashing in circuit may have blew something else on the board. I will do some diode testing of components in the nearby area. Other than this I am at a loss. (Oh, I did replace shopjimmy chip with a new 25Q64FV chip after all the above failed) used original code same result stuck in standby... So no worries gents.. both of you had good logic, we are dealing with BAD hardware somewhere!!!

Hmmm... do you verify the code after it is written? Also erase that SPI and do a blank check before you write it. Flash it offline and solder it in.

I did not attempt to re-flash working shopjimmy rom code offline and solder in. Only the code from the original mainboard flash chip.

Also in the mean time ask / look around for (a) dump file(s) for your and or similar boards. Sometimes a different brand will have the exact same TV set including the main board. Who cares, if the logo will show up as a different brand.

OK my brain is shaking... much confusion here, if you hear me at post #4 you almost surely was safe now.. but let try to re-order things now... you purchased a new 25Q64FV, from which brand it is? Probably you can have bought a dummy one from Chinese bastards, it happens always more frequently to me, so be careful and check feedbacks before buy, now if you solder back shopjimmy's flash and if requested flash the shopjimmy dump on it it returns back to working A.Warohl scene? If yes return back to post #4 and do what i suggest.. if you will not find the way to do a service menu reset then i will try, time permitting, a search inside the dump to see if i can locate the service setting options

aging mode can easily log out from it by using ( smart remote apk) i uploaded here many time.. for android devices with IR sender. under Haier Brand i remember under series 2200 there are P.M i and S.M can both use to switch it out also the exit can used too.

BTW you show us on the photo you do programming in offline. but you do it on board. onboard only can be used as read.. to write must be outside the board. can be this why my file dont starat and your sj also now dont start.

Yes, not always is possible to read/write inline, this can be due to how much current the board sinks supplied by the programmer and how are connected the pins from 1 to 3, them must be tied to GND to be succesful...
