Picture Issues with tv. LG 55lv5500

My tv powered on, but no picture or sound. The only fixes i could find were put the main board in the oven or replace a chip, but Ive never sodered before. I bought a main board off ebay that was in a 47lv5500 tv. The part number on the board is the same. After replacing the board, i got picture and sound. The problem is the picture is really fuzzy and there are a lot of coloring issues. I attached pictures. I pulled out one of the ribbons attached to the tcon board and got no picture. I replugged it in and unplugged the other ribbon and got a clearer picture but got black vertical lines throughout the picture. Any suggestions?

The EAX??? white silkscreen as printed on the main board PCB is the Blank PCB P/N, the blank PCB can be stuffed with different parts to make many different PCB assemblies for the needed TV model number. So the board you bought is made for 47" model as printed on the sticker. You need to get the correct PCB assembly to match your model or you will have to find out what the exact parts and firmware are needed to convert the board made for 47" to be for 55" model.

      EAX63333404 (0)

Im new to not only forums, but also tinkering with tvs. This EAX number matches the EAX number on the original board. Not sure if that matters.

That is the Blank PCB P/N as explained.
See the white sticker with '47LVxxxx-UA' that sticker tells you that PCB assembly is made for 47LVxxx TV model. EBT or EBR on the barcode sticker is for the PCB assembly manufacturer P/N, you also have SVC Code number too. There are so many thing you have to match.
If the board you bought is also made for 55" then they would have put that model on the sticker also.
Look at the barcode sticker of your old board and the new board. That model has more than one version of the PCB assemblies.
Look here at some of the details description of each main board:

Farther down on that page is a repair service for 50 bux or a mainboard for 75, like it says in the ad for mainboard, you can message them if any questions, you could message them with the numbers from your white sticker.

I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

                Sony xbr-65x900c main board issues?
                by jb_Bak
Hey guys great forum glad to have found it. I bought a Sony XBR 65X900C cheaply because it didn't work. No signs of life at all not even a light/led. All I hear is a brief high voltage sound when I throw the power to it.

Didn't see any obvious signs of damage so right away started checking voltages. This is what I see:
Power Board Connector that goes to Main board
                CN6401
                Pin 01 NC
                Pin 02 NC
                Pin 03 "BL_ON": 0V
                Pin 04 "N/C"
                Pin 05 "STBY 3.3V": 3.5V
                Pin 06 "GND": N/C
                Pin 07 "AC_OFF"...

Samsung UN55H8000AF - No Picture, Working Backlight, Replaced T-Con Board
                by ermals
                Hi all!
I've recently run into an issue with my Samsung UN55H8000AF LED TV displaying no image. I've done quite a bit of research in terms of what could be wrong with it. Below are the steps I've taken prior to reaching out here for some assistance:

                1. I've tried replacing the T-Con board (BN95-01594A), twice and have still experienced the same issue with all the boards I've tested with.
                2. I've tried to remove one side of the ribbon cable that goes from the T-Con board to the panel and still not getting any image on left or right side.
                3. I've checked voltages...

Hi, this is my personal laptop, which the original board (lets call it Board A) blew up PU8700 (TPS51486), making a hole on the board, i had left the laptop at my desk one day with the battery fully charged and didn't touch it for a week, but when i tried to turn it on it didn't
Thought the battery was dead, so i plugged in the charger then tried to power on, the power LED blinked once, charged LED still orange, unplugged the charger, plugged in again and I noticed the "magic smoke" smell, so i unplugged the charger, removed the back cover and saw the blown IC (the "magic...
