LG 47LN5400 LED TV shows no picture but there is sound

LG 47LN5400-UA BUSYLHR model turning on, has sound, but shows no picture. Flashlight test reveals menu successfully.

I opened the hood, checked the power supply to main board wiring. I am getting standby voltage of 3.5V, all other voltages in the row are also working fine. Power supply board# LG EAY62810801 (EAX64905501(2.2)).

Next, I looked at the output to LED side, it was measuring up to 83V and 79V respectively.

I checked the LED strips, 3 LED strips were not working out of 6 (No. 2nd, 3rd and 4th from top). So, I replaced all, got replacement through ShopJimmy. After replacement also, the same 3 LED strips are not working, although on testing individually (at 24V) each row is lighting up fine.

I am not sure how to move further to identify what could be wrong. Wanted constructive advice.

So do you have LED tester that can test the WHOLE LED string?
We also need to the pictures of the board and the whole backside of the TV showing how all the boards are connected together.

Yes, I have a DC voltage supply where I can adjust the voltage, it has probes for me to test the circuit. I used 24v for one single string.

When you first turn on the tv, what is the voltage on EL67 and EL68 (thats the - of the led's)
Then check the voltage at EL65 and EL66

You need 100V (see Voltage chart as printed on your board)to test the WHOLE LED string. 24V is not going to do it, you have two boost converter circuits and two LED drivers for two LED strings.
          https://www.shopjimmy.com/lg-eay6281...upply-unit.htm
You need to leave black probe on the chassis and red probe on those 4 test point (one at a time) as asked by RJ, then turn on the TV and see how high the Voltage jumps up to every time you turn on the TV.

Appears to be the usual common LG backlights failure issue. If it turns out your backlights are faulty, replace ALL the strips and I mean every single one to prevent a repair in the very short term.

Samsung TV model UE50TU: rebooting, backlight, sound, but no picture
              by TR103
              Hi, I have a Samsung UE50TU with:
              - sound and backlight, but no picture
              - when it arrived, it had a picture for a few seconds
              - it keeps rebooting
              - without ribbon cable between the two panel boards, it does not reboot but I have no picture
              - without cable between mainboard and lcd panel, it does not reboot (but obviously i have no picture)
              - when i try a tape fix, its keeps rebooting, unless I tape off pin 1 (the innermost pin). In that case it does not reboot but I have no picture.

Philips 58PUS7805/12 showed no picture; after T-Con replacement, shows halo
              by Rauni
Hello, this is my first post on this forum, and my first attempted to repair a TV.

My Philips 58PUS7805/12 stopped working recently. It is not that old, about 5 years. We were on a trip for a few days and when we came back, it had stopped working out of a blue (Perhaps our house was hit by a lightning strike? Don't know.)

Read from a guide that I should test if the screen shows picture with one of the T-Con cables disconnected. Did that, it showed perfect picture (first on left, later on right side).

Read also that we should test what happens if we...

Samsung UN60EH6000F Black Screen, Backlight and Sound Good. Power Cycle Returns Picture
              by Mgiffune
I have a 60 inch Samsung UN60EH6000F flatscreen TV. The screen went black a few months ago Sound is good, backlight is good, no menu. I replaced the TCon board with a used board purchased from Ebay. It worked fine for a 3-4 months, then the screen started ‘fading' back. Once again, sound is good, backlight is good, no menu. However, this time the picture looks fine for about 10-15 minutes, then fades back. If I power cycle the TV, the display reappears, for another 10-15 minutes, then fades black again. Repeatable ever time.

I ordered a supposedly ‘new' Tcon board this time, and

Samsung UE60KU6079 backlight okay mainboard responsive, no picture, no sound
              by Ierwin
              Hello everyone,
Ive got a UE60KU6079 on the workbench that is giving me some headaches trying to troubleshoot.
The previous owner stated that there had been white dots on the screen which from the description sounded like some lenses fell of the backlight LEDs.
He had opened the TV from the back, trying to get to the backlight, supposedly gave up, reassebled everything and gave the TV to me.
I expected the worst like ripped COF cables or a cracked panel but could not find anything like that yet.
Anyway I still fully expect that there has been something seriously damaged...

Samsung UN70NU6900F no picture and no sound
              by jchang
              Hi all

I was just given a Samsung TV with the issue. I read various threads and videos and attempted the ribbon tape method to gain an image, but no luck.

              Symptom:
              No picture no sound.
When I plug in the power cord, Backlight LED turns on for a half second and then turns off. The red LED next to the power button located center bottom flashes 2 or 3 times. When the power button is pressed after, it does the same thing.
              No sound at all.

              What I tried:
              1. I tried unplugging the left or right ribbon...
