Finding lost remote for a TV

Good day folks. I was curious if there's any feasible way of finding a lost remote for a particular TV. We're not talking Samsung or any major brand, in fact we're not even talking about your standard "living room" TV...we're talking about one of THESE. The one I've got is an "Elite ETV-78x" and of course there's little info on this thing, let alone a remote for it, so I did some digging and it's apparently the same thing as a Kongsonic TFT7038. Ironically I also found a schematic for this but have no idea how I'd go about finding a compatible remote...in the past, with CRTs, a technician would go by the chassis, since the brand was different every time, so my hopes are that someone will look at that board, the chips, etc and will go "it's the same as XYZ"....any ideas ? Yeah, it's a piece of junk, I know, but I need it because it fits perfectly in a very specific place I want to install it in. The only button I really care about is the on/off one really Many thanks.

The main IC is apparently an M61264 and searching for this, I found it in another schematic in the same configuration, alongside a M37150 which is also present in my little TV where the IR sensor connects two. Also searching for M61264 Remote, revealed some results for an Onida IGO TV, so I managed to narrow it down to what it COULD use...."China TV" LOL

It all comes down to the code that is programed in the remote ic and what is accepted and understood by the code in the processor. Even if the tv is made by the same manufacture and looks the same but is a different brand the remote code is usually different. and now older remotes from the same manufacture (ie RCA) will not operate the new RCA tv's or if they do only a couple functions work.
You might be able to use a remote where you can step through the different codes, or maybe a Harmony programable remote could work.

A harmony is probably 2-3 times the cost of this thing I do have a very cheap programmable remote at work which I'll have a look at and let it step through the codes since it does have such a function. Again, all I want is an on/off feature, since it will serve as a monitor for a security camera and all it needs to do is to be turned on/off It doesn't come on when power is restored sadly, as I would've done it that way

look everywhere like inside chairs and under them and anywhere you can think of . then try and find something else you lost and you will find the remote .

I have a few TV139F universal remotes which are a couple of bucks shipped from China. They have a "try every code" feature.

this is your best bet or equivalent... basically any cheap universal remote with a "sweep / discovery" mode will likely work especially since you only need the "on/off" function which is what is usually used to detect the code.

I have a rgb "holiday symphony" 600 led tree that I got for free but it has no remote which basically neuters the tree with just one color option and no music. The original remote is as 433.96 mhz rf remote. Here is the fcc link: https://fccid.io/2APJZ-PDT0093V.

The manufacturer is Polygroup and are absolutely no help. As they offer no replacements to the most easily lost part. All they gave me was the model number of the remote and said google it and good luck. Of course nobody is selling them. Anyways I provided pictures of the reciever motherboard along with the rgb...

DeLonghi AC Remote only accepts 3V
                  by cstout
Hello all, I've been looking into this portable air conditioner's remote control and can't find what could be causing the problem - or possibly this remote is just terribly designed.

The remote only works at exactly 3V - if I drop it any lower, using my bench power supply, to say, 2.9V then the remote will not flash the display and turn off. I don't have any AAA batteries that are exactly 1.5V each so I'm not sure if this remote is designed this way - to only use the freshest possible batteries, or if there's a failed component in the mix.

                  I can't find any schematics...

Toshiba 50lf711u20 fire tv remote not pairing
                  by Mc_Millian
                  Hello everyone,

I was wondering if anyone could help my in pairing a remote with a Toshiba fire tv?
The Tv model number is: 50lf711u20 Rev B.

I've already replaced all the the circuit boards within the tv along with the I.R. sensor receiver.

I've tried 3 different remotes which should be fully compatible with this TV.

Oddly enough. A few if the buttons on all of the remotes actually work. Even without pairing...which makes no sense.

The power button, along with the volume, back, select, and directional...

HiSense 55A7500F won't obbey to remote after power on
                  by edugimeno
Hi! I have this TV set that does the following:
                  1) I press the red power button on the remote
                  2) The TV turns on normally
                  3) After that it won't take any other command from the remote, neither power off, volume, channel, NOTHING
                  4) We need to either pull the main cable or use the built in button at the bottom to select funcion OFF

Then after it's off, it would again accept the TURN ON from the remote and same again

                  BUT:
-The remote does show the correct IR beam while observed thru a phone camera
-The TV works fine while using the MiRemote...

Pioneer VSX-522-K remote control not working???
                  by tmhobadcap
I have this receiver for at least 10 years. Usually, we just use the remote for turning on/off and adjusting the volume. Recently, the remote control started not able to turn the receiver on. Later, the volume also could not be adjusted by the remote control.

At first, I thought that it was the usual problem which can be fixed by cleaning the contacts on the switches and the pcb. I opened the remote and clean it with alcohol. The remote did work again after that. But after one day, it did not work again. I opened it again and clean with alcohol and contact cleaner. Again it worked...
