Properly trobleshoot a plasma TV (PN60E530A3)

Hello everyone from this wonderful forum, today I ask for some advice.
A neighbor recently gave me a faulty 60-inch plasma TV, the exact model is PN60E5300AFXZA, when you plug the power cord the stand by red led comes on, and when trying to power on the tv it will blink a few times and nothing else happens, no sound, no nothing on the screen.

I took the back cover off to check if I was able to find any visible indicator of a bad capacitor or any signs of a damaged component. Nothing visibly damaged.

I tried troubleshooting it by unplugging the cable that goes from the power board to the X Board (Right side of the tv) and to my surprise when you try to power on the TV this time you hear the power on tune, a sound! but no image and the TV goes back to standby mode.
Voltage in the PS-on is correct and also in the Standby pin.

I just want to know which board would be the culprit in order to find a replacement…

Can you give me any other ideas on what to test to pin point the faulty board?

The Y board gets power from the X board, so I unplugged just the Y board and no sound no picture. When the X board is unplugged, power on sound, no picture, and goes back to standby.

Do you have any advice on what should I test next in order to find the faulty board?

And for this type of power board, do I have to short the ps-on to ground? or just short ps-on and 5v sb pins together in order to test voltages in this board by itself.

Thank you very much in advance.

Could we see pictures of the TV with the back cover removed to see how the boards are interconnected, please?

I have the same problem, the TV will turn on and prime, but then display dots for like 3 seconds then turns off and turns on again and does the same thing, all by itself.

I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

        Assuming...

Hi, this is my personal laptop, which the original board (lets call it Board A) blew up PU8700 (TPS51486), making a hole on the board, i had left the laptop at my desk one day with the battery fully charged and didn't touch it for a week, but when i tried to turn it on it didn't

[SOLVED] M1 MacBook Pro clicking sound logic board 5V no power on A2338 820-02020
        by slimmy182
Hello, I bought this Mac from a friend, he said that it simply stop working. The MacBook looks very clean but does not power on, stuck on 5v 0.42A, and sometimes display 5V and 0A (then 0.071A and again 0A).

I opened it looking for some problem, it was not touched before for sure and the board is very clena, no spot of corrosion at all from what I can see. Voltage on multimeter of the board off the case it's the same, 5V 0.42A. But then I noticed this "clicking sound" come from the board ( I attached here the audio file).

Looking on google I found this:...

Samsung UN65js8500F, no sound, blank screen and T-Con board with one LED on
        by mrtek
Hi I am new to this kind of repairs but I want to learn..I have a Samsung UN65JS8500F. the TV used to work and I tried to fix darker areas in the middle only ( img 1,2,3). I thought the led strip were bad..not the case. I did not research in advance what kind and where the LED were located. In this model they are located vertically on right and left side. Took the TV apart and put it back together. Now the tv shows no welcome screen and no sound is available thru the speakers. ..just a black screen..Backlight LED do turn on...also noticed a 5 blink code , not sure if that was there before. I can...
