    LG 60PN6500 Plasma, does not power on, red light stays on.

    Hello! New here, hope I can bring my TV back to life!

    My LG 60PN6500 TV suddenly died. The front small red LED stays on. The POWER button either on remote or on TV doesn't to anything.

    I've tried troubleshooting it, but I'm a bit new to TV repairs. My main board, the one with the different outputs is getting it's 5.2 volts on the pins they should and also it's 17volt.

    There is M_ON and other pins that I don't know how to test.

    When I disconnect the main board from the power supply, I can hear a relay clicking and a kind of hissing sound comming from the the 2 other big modules on the side that looks like other power supplies. I think those modules are called YSUS board but I have NO IDEA what they are for hehe, sorry.

    Where should I be looking for? I'm pretty handy with a multimeter but new to TV, so some help might help!

      We need to seem clear, focused close up photos of the PSU and the connectors and the other boards as well.

          Stopped by this site trying to fix my parents Panasonic Plasma TV.

          Model number is TH-50PZ85U

          Power comes on and the red power light stays on solid.

          Did a few checks like hold the power button on for 60 seconds, hold the - Volume while holding the menu button, no luck, still@ blank grey screen as the screen lights up very vague.

          I also hear a few clicks.

          I also think my parents said there was a thunderstorm and the TV failed after that.

          Section 6 in the service manual talks about power and no screen,...

          Hi all!

          I'm trying to troubleshoot a Microsoft Surface Pro (5th gen) model 1796 that won't power on. Motherboard model is M1007506-015. My priority is retrieving data, but the SSD is integrated so it looks like if I can't repair it it'll need to go to a data recovery company. I've done a little basic board repair before, but nothing this advanced until now. So please forgive my ignorance in advance. 😅

          I found the boardview for this laptop in the forums here, and am able to open it on my PC with FlexBV.

          Consumption : when charger plg in = 0.004 amp

          Only 3/5 vl are present when charger connected..when i put my red probe at the coils of 3/5volts and power on with my power suplly it try to rise than 0v.
          when try to power on using power button i note this starnge value : 3v then 0.300v then 3v !
          No light at power button led

          All coils resistances :
          Pl 2001 =3v measured with kohm.
          pl 2004 = 5v measured with kohm
          pl 6001 = 49.7ohm
          pl 4012 = vccsa = 24.4 ohm

          I've got a 39" LG 39LN540V that's just spontaneously stopped working! The symptoms are - when I plug it in, the red light will flash on twice, then go out, there's no visible picture, and I couldn't see anything using a torch on the panel either. If I press the power button (either remote or on TV), the red light comes on continuously. If I press power again, the red light flashes twice.

          The TV is using a power board EAX64905301. I've attached a diagram of the power output, I've tested the voltages with a multimeter and I'm getting the following:
