    Samsung 65" curved screen won't turn on, power light blinks 6 times

    I'm working on a Samsung UN65JU6700FXZA, a 65" curved screen model about 2 1/2 years old. When I first got it in, I had a red standby light but it wouldn't turn on. The standby light would just flicker when I press the power button on the back or on the remote. So I ordered a replacement "used/tested good" power board on Ebay. Now when I attempt to power it up, the standby light blinks 6 times, pauses, blinks 6 times again and keeps looping until I shut it off. I verified the backlights work by unplugging the main board. Has anyone gotten a hold of Samsung's official list of what the codes mean for the number of blinks? I was just on chat with them for almost an hour only to find out they can only give that info to "authorized service personnel". I did notice the heat sink on the main board gets rather warm in a short time and I suspect it may be bad, but I also want to rule out having 2 bad power boards. Any input or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Sorry I don't have any pictures handy at the moment. My phone is also malfunctioning. I have over 16GB free on the SD card and on the internal memory but I get a "can not save" message when ever I try to take a picture. It's an LG G5.

    TV unplugged, take the back off the TV, unplug the main board from the PSU and plug the TV into mains socket. The PSU should turn on by itself and the backlights should be on.

      Thanks for the reply. My original post was kind of long-winded and I may have not been very clear, but I mentioned I already did that and the back lights do come on solid with the main board unplugged.

        ok, what are the voltages on the PSU connector that goes from the PSU to the main board?
        Use the pin out name with the voltages measured.
        Like:
        PSon = 3V
        BLon = 3.2V etc...

          Unfortunately I don't have the TV in front of me at the moment. It's in the shop across town and I won't be visiting there until Thurs night so I could try to get some voltage readings then. It's a 2 level connector with the pins in close proximity so I was a little afraid to probe them with the power on for fear of shorting something out but I'll try to be careful. Do you want me to take readings with the main board connected or disconnected? I do have the original power supply board at home so I took a couple pictures of it. I zoomed in on the power output connector on the 2nd picture so you can see the pinout chart. The power supply board is a BN44-00808C by the way. I could power up the original board on my kitchen table and take some voltage readings if that will tell you anything? The confusing thing to me is I had 2 different symptoms with the 2 different power boards. The original board would only flicker the standby light when pressing the power button, but the new one gives me the 6 blinks pattern repeating. So I'm trying to figure out if my new power board is bad, or if I possibly have a bad main board and a bad power board. Main boards are expensive so I want to get some idea of what's going on before ordering a new one.
