    UN32EH5000FXZA LED power problem

Greetings, all! It's been some time since I troubleshot a TV, so please bear with me if I haven't got all the terminology correct.

Someone put this lovely screen on the curb just the other day, and when I pulled it open, it was practically pristine! Following the quick hints from the Samsung_UN40EH5000FXZA_fast_track_guide_[SM].pdf as posted elsewhere, I can tell you the focus will be with the CNL802 to the lamps section.

When power is applied, the lights are on for a fraction of a second, then off for a few, repeat. No sounds, sizzling, nothing. Once I disconnect that cable, the unit "turns on" in the sense that the T-CON board lights up, and a "power-on" tone is heard.

I haven't pulled the screen apart further to inspect the LEDs directly, and your advice and guidance is appreciated.

Disconnect the cable between the power supply and the main board then apply the AC to the TV to see if the backlights will come on right away and stay on as long as the TV is plugged into the AC outlet, it is the self test of the power supply and the LED backlights to see if they are both OK or not.
