• UN32EH5000FXZA LED power problem

Greetings, all! It's been some time since I troubleshot a TV, so please bear with me if I haven't got all the terminology correct.

Someone put this lovely screen on the curb just the other day, and when I pulled it open, it was practically pristine! Following the quick hints from the Samsung_UN40EH5000FXZA_fast_track_guide_[SM].pdf as posted elsewhere, I can tell you the focus will be with the CNL802 to the lamps section.

When power is applied, the lights are on for a fraction of a second, then off for a few, repeat. No sounds, sizzling, nothing. Once I disconnect...

  • Re: E19T6W powers off

Greetings! Troubleshooting the E19T6W as mentioned in the post above- including the "stays on for awhile" part. I've fixed about 60 Samsungs so far, but this one is a head-scratcher. The longest recorded time it has been on is 40 minutes. Screen goes black, power stays on. I power it off, then on again, and it appears fine for 15 minutes, then no display again, etc, until it stays on for 20 seconds or so. No "2 seconds to black" easy fixes here. • Re: Samsung Syncmaster 940BX backlight problem - Need help please.

There's a great deal going on right now (though slow shipping, since it's in China) ebay lots of 10 TMS92515CT for 18.88 GBP, which is just around 30 US. Since I've gone through 10 monitors already, with caps usually being the issue, it would seem I'll be needing a few of these to fix the remainder.Re: Samsung Syncmaster 940BX backlight problem - Need help please.

  • Re: Problems with Samsung 740N monitors

Greetings, one and all. My first post, and I would have edited my personal details but the User CP function doesn't seem to be enabled for me yet.

Regardless, I work in MA for a large company, and we've got scores of Samsung 740N failing now, after 42 months of use. At least, that's an estimate, as most were manufactured in April of 2008. All but one case I've come across was a simple matter of replacing the obviously burst capacitors, the classic 3 820uf 25v. I always want to improve my skills, so I'm redoubling my efforts on...
