Panasonic TH 42PX45 clicking on bootup

    Hi There.
I bought this TV very cheap "as is", knowing it was broken. I took it up to the workbench today.
As soon as I hit the physical switch, I get a cycling on-off relay on the PS board. Front led would switch from red to green too
Then I removed the back cover. Lots of boards here. I recognize the PS, a Y_sus with its buffers, an X-sus and it¡s buffer (lower), a sound board , and a stack a other boards in the center that I guess would basically do the function of a MAIN all together (tuner, ext- inputs, extension card, etc)

First thing I see is some traces of water in the Y-sus Board, lower right side (see photo). I was so glad to see this, I was already checking for spares online for this board, but first I checked what would happen if I isolate this board, and...nothing... I disconnected all the wires to this board and the TV would still do the same.
Then I checked the X-sus board. The large 2-wire (HV I guess) plug would make no difference if I unplugged it. If I unplugged the other smaller ("TPVDA") plug, it would not click at all and would stay in green led but then I realized the hardware switch from the fron panel go "across" this board, so the power on pin would get interrupted after removeing this plug.

Then if I removed some random plugs in the "center" (main?) boards, to/from audio and PS to the tuner and input bosrds, the power on-off cycle would get much longer, maybe clicking after 10-15 seconds, but it would still not stay up.

During all this time, I checked both HV (I guess) 2 pin large sockets to X and Y boards and got 0 volts.

I am pretty lost in the diagnose procedure for this TV set, maybe anyone has experience on this?

    Thanks in advance!!

With the set off check the resistance between Va, VS etc and chassis and make certain there is no short circuit.
Willing to help but I'm no expert.

For some extrange reason, this TV set does not label those voltages as usual. Do you mean to test the large 2-pin plugs that enter the X-sus and Y-sus boards?

      Thanks
