Samsung UN60FH6200F Backlights but no picture

Plugging TV in results in the backlights turning on without having to press power button.
Pressing the power button causes the backlights to turn off for a second and then turn on again without anything displaying on screen.
Holding the power button causes the tv to turn off and on in 1 second intervals.

The readings from the connector that goes from power to main board while on are:

    Pin# - Desc - Voltage
    1 - B13V - 0V
    2 - PMW_DIM - 0V
    3 - B13V - 0V
    4 - B13V - 0V
    5 - VAMP - 0V
    6 - BLU_ON - 0V
    7 - VAMP - 0V
    8 - GND - 0V
    9 - GND - 0V
    10 - GND - 0V
    11 - B5V - 0V
    12 - A5V - 5.3V
    13 - B5V - 0V
    14 - PS_ON - 0V

Disconnecting the main board from the power board results in the backlights turning on and off in 1 second intervals and voltage readings jumping up and down

Disconnecting the main board AND the backlights result in the below readings:

    Pin# - Desc - Voltage
    1 - B13V - 12.5V
    2 - PMW_DIM - 3.4V
    3 - B13V - 12.5V
    4 - B13V - 12.5V
    5 - VAMP - 12.5V
    6 - BLU_ON - 3V
    7 - VAMP - 12.5V
    8 - GND - 0V
    9 - GND - 0V
    10 - GND - 0V
    11 - B5V - 5.3V
    12 - A5V - 5.3V
    13 - B5V - 5.3V
    14 - PS_ON - 3.3V

    BACKLIGHT CONNECTOR:
Pin# - Desc - Voltage - Colored wire to LEDS
    1 - D+ - 407V - BLUE
    2 - D+ - 407V - NC
    3 - NC - 0V - NC
    4 - S- - 0V - BLACK
    5 - NC - 0V - NC
    6 - S+ - 0V - BLUE
    7 - NC - 0V - NC
    8 - D- - 4.6V - NC
    9 - D- - 4.6V - BLACK

Hmmmmm....It would appear that you have LED backlights issue. The Main Bd and PSU seem to be OK. Do you know how to tear down the Panel to get to the LEDs?

Good Call! After reading your reply i went ahead and powered the tv with only the LED cable disconnected and now I get sound. I will post again after digging further into the unit to look for the cause.

Yep, LED/WIRING/CONNECTOR issue that'S why the Voltage went up to 407V!

Change out all of the strips with new ones. The seemingly working old ones will fail in the very near future and you will have to do a repeat teardown and repair.

Samsung UE48H6410 replaced Mainboard but backlights doesnt go on
              by max789
Hello, I have a problem with my Samsung UE48H6410SSXZG with the main board BN41-02156A and the power board BN44-00709A. Everything seemed like this, the TV could no longer be switched on, the standby LED always flashed 5x2 times. Backlight was off and no sound from TV. Also made the flashlight test and there was no picture.

              I made the following tests:
              1. Disconnected the main board from Power Board = backlight works.
              2. Connected the main board and disconnected the T-Con = backlights does not work.

So I ordered a main board from Ebay also BN41-02156A but from...

UN55D6000 - Multiple issues, now no standby light
              by fuxxy
              UN55D6000 I've posted about before.

Initially had bad backlights, of which both entire strips were replaced.
Then TV started not staying off. Every poweroff command was recognized, TV would power off then power right back on, even with nothing attached.

Now, no output at all. No red Power LED, No response to remote. No clicking or coil whine.

From other threads, tested various outputs on the PSU. Noticed that when the mainboard was unplugged, the backlights would turn on.

              Backlight Connector CNL802:
              Logic board unplugged:
              pin...

              VIZIO M557-G0: Backlights or ???
              by bpcannan
              'Morning,
I get sound and picture when powering on the TV and its stays that EXCEPT that the left half of the screen will dim every few seconds then return to normal while the right side of the screen performs as designed.

Did the soft and hard reset options pulling the plug, using the reet option in the vizio menu to no avail.

I checked the mainboard - found some popped capacitors so replaced it - but that did not change the situation.

I checked the t-con board. It is getting good power. Then I removed one ribbon cable to see if I could isolate...
